Going  to have a go at making field gates.....for my sins... if someone could help with sizes, what to make them with ..can solder a bit .. best for latches .. posts  thickness of wire...? many thanks levers....

I have some which 'old massey' also known as Mark made for me. He soldered them but I remember him saying it was a damn nightmare due to how close together all the joints were and the thin nature of the material. I also have some white metal gates made by a custom builder - very soft! I think now, for the ease of it I'd take Holy Loves Toys' metal gates. They're nice and strong too. I will still make my own wooden gates though.
