mickelcarroll
Thanks guys, much appreciated! Is there a certain way to remove the rear wheels and what needs to be done then? Does the axle have to be shortened or is it just a case of sticking them back on? Regards, Mick!
nathan
its more to do with packing out between the wheel and the end of the tractor axle .i used on my 1056xl some hollow tube to pack the back axle out. , front was simple as it screws on but i used washers to pack the back of the wheel out to make it a bit stronger. dave twose is where i got mine . seeing that ford has got me wanting one now Edited June 11, 2012 by nathan
mickelcarroll
Thanks! I recon i could find some off cuts to put on the back of the wheel! But again, the unknown question, is it hard to get the rear wheel off of the axle without damaging the tractor?! That's EXACTLY what made me want some row-crops on it! I was looking through a model farmer magazine and was like Oh.My.God!
Barry
The one in the picture belongs to a friend of mine, Rob, I kept the picture because I want to do the same too at some point! Might have a look at the rear wheels tonight, i'd guess they just pull off, but maybe someone will be good enough to share there experience with us
