For those who use brass parts in their builds, I'm considering investing in some rods myself now ( for hydraulic parts and rear wheel axles), what sizes do you use and how is it to work with? I know it would differ with whatever size the model should be in, but since this would be new to me I was hoping for some advice Do they work well for movable parts, staying in position?
I will of course use my styrene rods for reference before ordering, I was initially thinking about 1mm for some hydraulic parts, maybe 3mm for wheels (or possibly bigger).
If there's any other material which would be better to use, I'm open for suggestions - It will however need to be fairly easy to cut with a multi tool.
