Surprising what you find laying around isn't it?

My Dad works in an old brickworks. The company he works for has been bought and sold time and time again and now they are a shadow of their former self. Their line of work is fuel anylisers for the oil industry and the company has been scaled down from about 30 shop floor workers to just 7 (after expanding with two apprentices!!) Anyway, they only use a small part of the building now with the rest split up into units, one of which is leased by Archie Kidd Thermal - the same family as Kidd Farm Machinery. I park my lorry in the yard down there now and again and while I was waiting for a lift I spotted these. ...

All I know is they must be pretty old going by the decal on them, unless they came after the Kidd Farm Machinery name disappeared but they look older then other toppers I have seen. Three rotor, belt driven from a single gearbox. Probably 2.8m but I didn't measure them. I'd guess they were pre-sales release. There was no ID plate on them. Anyone else know anything?
