New Holland's Tattie Harvesting......

same as geddes I remember when every harvester had a picking table on it. when i was 16 and was full time on the farms, the bosses sister inlaw used to come and work on the harvester, she was only 20 and well fit so it made the tatties a really good job.

Saw Geddes harvesting the other day, they cleared the three fields they had on my boss's ground in around three days, both harvesters had pickers on them but could see whether they were VARIANTs or GZ machines...... :-\ ;)

their was a new harvester arrived when i was back at the summer can't remember what it was. did you get any pictures. franky said he was going to take some pictures when he bought a digital camera. was the 6920s and the 6810 on the harvesters.

Didn't get any pics I'm afraid Peter as I only saw them from the school bus going up the A90, but from what I did see there was definitely a 6020 Series on one of the harvesters...... :);) ;)

As Peter said it's an older Ron Gardiner trailer, made around 15-20 miles away from me at aguess...... :)

I'll see if I can come across a tractor to take a bad set of pics then Tris...... :D;)

Speaking of harvesters with picking tables earlier in the topic, I just passed J&I Reid harvesting with their Grimme VARAINT DL1700 with picking table but they haven't employed anyone to do any picking in the back...... :-\ ;)
