A good idea or too much of a risk?

Question

Whilst in Dolgellau this year i saw a dolls house display selling each of the little bits like chairs etc. On our farm my boss uses alot of bath tubs to use for water troughs for the animals. Has anyone got any idea on the scale of dolls house accesories like this and would it work to use a dolls house bath on a layout? They looked nearly the alright scale but im not quite sure.

The idea was to buy a bath then chip the paintwork, put some water in and then for effect add a bit of green food dye. Tell me what you think  ;)

Of course the baths hopefully shouldn't cost that much  :o

They are probably either 1:12 or 1:24 Nick so a little on the large side. There is a company that does 1:35 bathtubs which would be much better. There is a link on here for a company in the website links section. I'll look see if I can find it.

Thanks mate ... that would be much appreciated  ;)
