SMurF
IT's dead in the corner of the yard Gear stick came off whilst bieng driven and would cost more to mend than it's worth so it has stayed there for about 15 years+ ;D

NewHolland2
Hello Smurf. Nice Ford there . What is the Leyland used for as that looks like Row-Croptyres on the rear? Cheers NewHolland2
MJB1
I think if i were to start a collection of fergies i`d start with a 699 ,If it had gears on the RHS it would be the perfect tractor.
MJB1
What is the Leyland used for as that looks like Row-Croptyres on the rear? Cheers NewHolland2 aye & whats with the exhaust pipe at the back of the cab ?

SMurF
The exhaust on the leyland is orriganal spec and cost an absolute fortune
MJB1
If it`s original spec i wonder what i used to do when it was new ? as by rights it`s a big tractor.
SMurF
It's 100 horse power but the front end was so light hence the abbundance of weights we used to use it for rotterrering and it still did wheelies allas the hyd pump went a knacker + main hyd controll valve so it retired into a shunter untill the main drive to the gearbox went on a walkabout and thats were it has stated untill i put it under cover
JC
One of the local farms to me still has a Leyland, infact he has loads of tractors..... a few of the locals quite often comment that he has a tractor for every implement he owns and to be honest he probably has! I must get round the back of the farm sometime and fill the camera up. Anything from an old Fordson to an MX220 can be found there, all used regularly
