Tattie Time Again.....

Well it's that time again when the big tattie operation stats its harvest.....This year I could only describe my two hour photo-taking spree as a Tractor-Fest.....New Holland, John Deere, Fendt and Massey are all represented in the coming pictures.....

To kick off here is the first tractor to arrive on scene while I was watching.....The Massey 5465 with Bailey Trailer.....

2) As the Massey arrived a Fendt 515C with Gardiner Trailer was leaving

The first harvester to reach the top of the hill was the Grimme GT170M powered by a John Deere 6920..... :) :)

The John Deere 6920 with Grimme then headed back off down hill to start the next run while the Massey 5465 sat patiently waiting.....

Next tractor to leave was a local contractor's McCormick MTX140 also with a Gardiner Trailer..... :) :)

The John Deere 7920 with Grimme GZ1700 DLS harvester then reached the top of the hill with a New Holland TM140 carting.....

1) The John Deere 6920 with Grimme GT170M was now coming back up the hill now loading the Bailey Trailer pulled by the Massey 5465

2) The John Deere 6920 with Gardiner Trailer which was loaded by the GT170M was now leaving

The New Holland TM140 was now ready to leave..... :) :)

As the New Holland was leaving another John Deere 6920 with Gardiner Trailer arrived on scene.....

1) John Deere 7920 with Grimme GZ1700 DLS loading a John Deere 6920 with Gardiner Trailer

2) John Deere 6920S with Gardiner Trailer arriving on scene

1) Was the Massey 5465's turn to leave now

2) A John Deere 6920 was also departing

The John Deere 6920 with Grimme GT170M was now loading another Bailey Trailer this time trailed by a 57 Plate John Deere 7530 Premium..... :) :)

The John Deere 7530 heads off to the bottom of the hill again.....

Cheers Alan.....It's a 7530.....

I'm guessing it's used during drilling with a front mounted hopper and they just haven't bothered to take the pipe off when the tractor is on other duties.....
