jcb4cxkid
this is done here either in cases a small combine with small header just created very small rows of straw - in this case two rows are raked together in order to help the bigger (nion-conventional) balers to get enough to eat". However in this case, after a few days of rain, the straw was first spreaded with the tedder in order to allow for better drying and then raked again. Hope this makes sence. Is this an unusual procedure in the UK, where wet weather seems to appear even more often during harvest time?? thanks well i don't see it very often
Kris
thanks well i don't see it very often Dont think i have seen it done much around here either. Its usually baled straight away and cut when its readyy so no need to do it. Plus no small combines around here
