this is done here either in cases a small combine with small header just created very small rows of straw - in this case two rows are raked together in order to help the bigger (nion-conventional) balers to get enough to eat".

However in this case, after a few days of rain, the straw was first spreaded with the tedder in order to allow for better drying and then raked again. Hope this makes sence. Is this an unusual procedure in the UK, where wet weather seems to appear even more often during harvest time??
