The very first International Model Tractor, Plant & Construction Machinery Show, a major new exhibition for all tractor, plant and construction machinery enthusiasts, took place at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre on Sunday 19th February 2012.
Over 900 visitors were treated to displays featuring scratch built, customised and converted models; dioramas; and machinery including fantastic competition entries. Amongst the prize winners were J Howick who came first in the Tractors & Farming Equipment, Conversions or Customised Models category with his 1975 Muir Hill 121 and Michael Rowbotham first in the diorama class with his 1/76 scale ‘Pear Tree Farm'. These featured alongside magnificent full sized vintage tractors courtesy of the Warwick Tractor & Vintage Machinery Society (WVTMS) and the Friends of Ferguson Heritage.
Key suppliers were also present at the show which presented an ideal opportunity for modellers to view the latest new products, take advantage of special offers and purchase everything needed for their hobby and collections - plenty of inspiration and ideas for enthusiasts of all ages.
