  1. Exactly But thanks Henry for the link to the model version. You never know when I will need to add that to my collection
  2. Thanks guys. I knew I could count on you
  3. Does anyone make loaders for the JCB Fastrac? If they do can you guys tell me who they are and if they have a website. Thanks
  4. Here are some pics of the cultivator I have in 1/64. I found the receipt and I paid $135 for it back in 2001. Larry Buhler is the builder of these. I have number 21 out of I think 100 but I can't rmember for sure. They are hard to come by now.
  5. I have a 1/64 16v-747 also with a 80' Friggstad field cultivator hooked to it. It was a small run by a custom builder up in Canada and is an amazing piece. The Williams brothers who own the real 747 use a 80' cultivator still but I can't remember the brand. I originally talked to Jeff Moore of Moores farm toys about casting me the shanks for a 1/32 Friggstad but I guess Buhler (the fellow who did the 1/64 version) was talking about doing a 1/32 version. To my knowledge no one has ever done it. When I get my new shop finished I plan on building one for my 1/32 747. I would love to make it as real as possible and I hope to make the shanks spring loaded like a real unit. I will try and get a picture of it for you guys later if you are interested.
  6. These are nice tractors and for the most part DCP did a great job. They could have detailed the hitch a little bit more but for the most part the only parts back there are the hitch and remote couplers.
  7. The racks are there to hold the flats of plants that the fellow (or lady) in the seat would be planting. The water tank is for watering the row as you are planting. The water tank is an option for the people who plant without using drip tape under a plastic mulch. It just gives the plants that extra shot to help get them established.
  8. It does look like a strawberry rig but can be used for other plants also.
  9. Where did you find a board big enough to park that plow on That is an amazing model and I can not even guess at how muct time you spent on it. It is simply amazing
  10. I am hoping Marky has more info or someone as this tractor has caught my attention
  11. I can't tell you much about the 148 other then there was a 168, 178 and 188 also. Here is a page from Puddings website dealing with the 148http://www.puddingsworld.com/Machinery/MF_Agricultural/mf_tractors/mf_148_79.htm
  12. Is it just me or does the yellow behind the cab on the ladder side not match the yellow side panels that open? The corn head doesn't look like the same color yellow either. If the yellows do not match on the production version I will be disappointed in the NH chopper again
  13. I am not sure if it is the JD head as I don't have the JD but I thought it was the same head as on the FX. The grass head looks slightly different though
  14. If it is like the FX Ertl released a couple years ago then I felt it was kind of cheap looking. It uses a lot of plastic but the plastic has a dull look and makes the overall model look cheap. Hopefully they made the finish on this one a lot better.
  15. In the US you can find Ertl models (North American releases that is) in most farm stores, tractor dealerships and toy show. The online dealers are the best places to be able to find the current releases.
  16. A Healthy Shade of Green posted this link for the preview of the new John Deere toy catalog over on Toy Tractor Times message board. http://www.ertl.com/brand/farm_const/2008/Catalog/2008_JDCatalog.pdf I should note, this pdf is not dial up friendly for those of you who have dialup still
  17. Could it be possibly too high folding it vertically or maybe poor vision for the operator? Granted, folding it forward will make it difficult to operate tight areas but could have been the best option for them.
  18. They made the Buhler Genesis and Buhler Versatile in 1/64 and 1/32 but I do not recall any in 1/16. Maybe the Versatile but the last 1/16 Genesis was the 8970A if I recall. If Scale Models did make a 1/16 Buhler I hopefully will run across it at one of the toy shows sometime.
  19. I am not sure? I know I have the New Holland version but can't remember if I have the Fiat version. I do know I have the Fiat 1/16 model from Scale Models. I just wish they made the Buhler version of the Genesis
  20. I always wanted to buy one of these models because they were different but their complete lack of detail prevented me. I can not believe they didn't at least fake some hoses or nozzels on the 1/16 220 This new version still lacks a lot of detail. Maybe I am just spoiled by the UH sprayer \
  21. That is so much better Why don't these companies just post their pics on their own site for everyone to see. Bill shows prototype pics quite often so why keep these pics hidden?
  22. That is a much better pic. You can see where the pic came from but still see the tractor Thanks for posting it. The whole tractor looks great
  23. Thanks FB, I will try to look the topic up.
