Out in the other field, the Farm Owner ran the chopper through the last corn field:
Finally, Gavin cut the grass around the field for the final time this year. There was not much left to cut, as the grass and weeds drastically stop growing when the first frost hits:
The farm could have not chose a better day to finish up work in the fields:
Hate to say it, but that's all for this week folks!

It's been a while!
FALL HARVEST
With the beginning of November upon us, the farm took the past day to harvest up anything that was left in the field. As the fields are now done for the year, we drove out on the Loader and Skid Steer for the harvest. First, Denis and Garret harvested what was left of the pumpkins. Only 1/4 of a bucket was filled. These will most likely be used for pies:
The other crop left in the field was Winter squash. Marky, Dave, and Denis filled up two overflowing buckets with what was left, a very good final harvest. We will cover the buckets for the night, and store the harvest in the barn the next working day:

mmmm not sure what you mean there but i havent seen Siku drop behind RC2 ??? \.....infact Siku seem to be streets ahead over here of RC2, the Britains brand is dying and RC2 are very very slowly trying to do something about it, hopefully next year they may improve ??? \, but we wait every year and they let us down with some poor quality models and implements you cant use >.....like the JD sprayer, have you tried turning with it on a tractor? :D :, then look at RC2's new JCB and the one Siku have released.....Sikus is soooo much more user friendly, you can even hitch something to it
I can see a bit where he is coming from...
Ertl has always been the number one brand over here which is very strange, forgive me avid Ertl collectors but it often seems like people buy the models just to support the company...I have bought many Ertl models that United States collectors rave about, and most of the time I was not impressed with the model in the least amount. Because of the collecting habits in the USA, RC2 will most likely have a strong foothold here for another few years possibly, but yes even here many people have stopped collecting them because they are just plain disappointed with their models. Don't get me wrong, they are one of the most durable replicas that money can buy these days which is what I think gives them the larger advantage over here, but they just aren't what they used to be in just about all of their other departments. \

Impressive collection mate! Quick question- what is the tractor in the back left bottom shelf on image "25-04-08 5.jpg" ?

Nice pictures Chris, tidy old combine you are using.

Last night while showing my 1/16 MF35x to my nephew it had a bit of a mishap, in that the plough lamp broke off. I was wondering, what is the best way to re-attach it (glue or otherwise) or should I leave well enough alone and just touch up the area where it was broke off.
I've had the same problem. Have to be really tedious to get it back properly to be honest, I used apoxie and held the part on basically until the apoxie hardened. Did not come out great, but better than not having it on at all. Hope this helps, good luck!

Excellent Photos mate, I was quite surprised to see that particular style loader on the 414, didn't know that it was used in the UK as well!

Looking great mate, well done!

Great shots Martin, "Massey and Trailer(3)" looks like it could have come right off of a vintage brochure! Great quality as always, thanks you your time and effort.

Had the new truck inspected today for any problems that could arise...report came back only with the Cat. Converter, E Brake, New Belts, and a few small oil leaks. Well pleased.
