  1. those new models are savage will have to get some....
  2. it varys from show to show because at the show their is construction models and farms. at the show in kinsale their was four farm displays and five or six construction and trucks. but each display is big with a lot of models. it is well worth coming to as their would be lots of good ideas you get for your own fram and conversions on display. i will have a couple of new conversions on display they are based on irish trailer companys. two are to do with construction and one with the farmyard. but all scale 1:32. hope you can make it. james
  3. that landini is savage. will you have a display at the show in Waterford . james
  4. your leveler is built wrong the one on the back is the other way but yours is at the front not at the back............. look a the picture on the website then at your first picture.
  5. if you are zero grazing you knock it and pick up straight away. but it looks like the grass was knocked awhile ago. james

  8. when was the grass knocked. how many loads did you bring in? do you do much silage at this time off year in Waterford. because im from cork and i never heard of this before at this time of year. james
  9. must try and get the conversions finished for the show. caint wait for it james
  10. savage pictures hope you can get some when you are harvesting.
  11. know some pleople with new tractors are luckly. but i know that new ones still have their problems but with one of the legends to lock the hitch you have to put a cocrete block to it and reverse back so that the lift arms wil lift high enough. The one thing i hate is the young lads drawing earth with the new tractors and the they cant reverse if you meet them with a full load of silage and they have a empty dumper. it could take them 10 to 20 minutes to reverse 100 meters. then they also think they own the world because they have a john deere or new holland and dooley dumper with 16 ton of earth. ask me you should not be able to drive on the road until you can reverse. plus the only reason they drive the tractors because they leave school when they are sixteen and they got a job straight away because of the building boom. but know their is now work for them beacuse their is know buildings been build. so know thwy are looking for jobs but cant drive a tractor proppley because they where never shown. in dudlin people can do a course on how to drive a tractor an dumper. it not that hard beacuse you can see over the dumper when you reverse. so only give somebody a new tractor if they can drive it.
  12. ask me i think newer ones are better. i may be young and only starting to drive but how did you live without front suspension and cab suspension. i could no drive a tractor without front suspension a last drawing silage because you would have a pain in your back in an half an hour. i hate even if i have to move on around the yard it is just painfull and uncofortable. how did you live without a ram in your hitch to push it out so you can see it when you are picking up a trailer. where i work nobody wants the two legends with no suspension everybody wants one of the four mc cormicks or the class because they are just so m uch more comfortable. i nearly alwaya get on of the mc cormick either one of the two 04 mtx 140 0r the new 05 mtx 135. the new mtx 135 is now my favourite but we only got that when we had to cut the maize but he just kept it. but i had one of the mtx 140 for the summer it was so comfortable and noting every went wrong with it. but now that im back a school and the others are driving it is now ruined it now needs a new seat and the pto fixed and it is now never clean unlike when i had it. so for me it has to be newer the better.
  13. for a vacum pipe use a pipe with a hole down through it about 0.5cm in radius
  14. i think you can only get the bigger tankers in paint version. are u putting a trailing shoe on it
  15. go to your local abbey dearler and get the paint from them they should have if because they would be fixing abbey tankers, feeders etc.
  16. That is explaring you they are picking up this time of year. But could they not bring in a couple of loads to cover of loads to cover them from cristmas. that is a nice fleet of gear they have. when was the grass knocked? james
  17. Where in Ireland is it? Do you know it is december not the the middle of the summer and plus it is st stephens day could they not wait tell tomorrow to pick it up. The tractor looks savage with the symth. But i would like a thrope of redrock. But the Thrope would have to be my favourite it is the best trailer to pull with a load of silage or maize or grass. Was their just the one tractor their. Mc Cormick mtx 140 and 20 foot thrope all the way. james
