  1. Hi I would love to see Ertl/RC2 do a 1/32nd Scraper Pan set for the Case IH 535 & Deere 9630 FWD's. These big monster FWDs need something big and heavy to pull to use their full power. Over in North America the big FWDs are used to pull Scraper Pans around on Construction sites. Lets see CIH 535 HD with Reynolds Pans and Floater tires for the Red boys.... Ertl/RC2 should be able to do a 32nd NH T9000 series FWD & pan set for the blue guys. Then you could do a Scraper pan set for the 9630 but have the tractor packaged with the pans, have the Scraper Special decals & Floater tires! That would be sweet. Take Care Jason B
  2. Hi I will try and get some pictures ASAP. Unfortunately, The first one has already been returned. Too be honest, I have never quite figured out how to load pictures on this site. I take it you upload the pictures to photobucket or something and then click the imagine icon? Sorry about me asking, all the fourms I vist do it differently. As soon as I get that figured out I will post. Oh yeah, I forgot the 9630 does have winshield wippers, just overlooked them. Take Care Jason B
  3. Hi Well Today, I picked up a replacement 9630 from another Dealer today. The other one will be sent back tommorrow. The one I got today is in perfect shape! Cab interior is correct and all decals are on correctly. Very beautiful model. I guess I overreacted a little bit at first. The first one I got, I was unfortunate to get a "Bad apple" out of the production run, but the one I got is perfect now so all is well! :). Take Care Jason B
  4. Hi I think it was just a bad apple like you said, yeah the dealer has a few left and they appear to be in decent shape. Will pick one of them up tommorrow probably. Take Care JB
  5. Hi The detail is incredible on it, I would recommend you get one though, but closely inspect them for detail. The decals can easily be glued back on but trying to fix the cab interior is another story, so taking it back makes sence to just take her back to the dealer. Hopefully the dealer then sends it back to RC2. Take Care Jason B
  6. Hi Yeah, I know they can't check everything that comes off the line but is a little bit of a let down in away. Luckly I can return it and get one that has better quality. Britans seemed to have been doing well with QC on other models I bought until the 9630 came along. I guess things happen that we can't control. Still it will be returned for another one. The detail is amazing on it, it's just frusterating that Quality control was not up to parr. They have a few on the shelf that are nearly in perfect shape. I may get one of them. I don't mind mirror issues, but when you have the entire cab interior on a 25% slope then we have problems. Take Care Jason B
  7. Hi I will try and get pictures once I get my replacement 9630 from the dealer. Kind of frusterates me, I have seen a few of the 9630's in very nice shape, and then mine ends up being ruined by quality control issues & still in the box. Mine must have been built "On a Friday" near the end of day with people rushing to get home for the weekend. Oh well It is greatly detailed but quality issues ruins the model. I don't mind the decals, as that is an ease fix but having the slanted cab interior bothers me. It is too bad it had to be Quality Control Issues that ruined such a nice model. Britans/RC2 needs to step this up in a big way. Take Care JB
  8. Hi Well I woke up this Morning and found a 1/32nd John Deere 9630 under the tree. It looked great until I examined it up close. It is loaded with quality control issues and has gone from Britans Best 1/32nd to one of their worst toys in 1/32, and if it was not for quality control it would have been a great model. Lots of issues, and I will be returning it to the dealer on Thursday. All most all the decals are starting to peal off and one nearly looks like it wants to fall off. The mirrors were bent out of shape and the cab interior is a mess. Great detail, but mine looks like it was jammed into the cab. Not to mention the entire cab interior, from the floor, seats and controls are on a 25 degree slope, so if a 1/32nd driver were in the cab he would fall off the seat, that's how bad the angle of the cab is. The entire steering colum looks like it wants to fall apart, and is slanting on an angle in the opposite way that the cab is slanting. Plus if you look into the cab from the rear view, you will see that the cab interior is drastically on an slant. You can see a quater of an inch underneath cab interior inside the cab, that you should not see. Basically it exposes the casting. I am extremly disapointed by the Quality issues. The detail is great & is a step in the right direction, but quality control issues like my 9630, will drive customers away from Britans if they don't fix the Quality issues on future releases. None the less, mine is still NIB & will be going back to the local JD dealer for replacement 1/32nd 9630 that will hopefully be better. Hate to say it, all though the detail is outstanding, quality control has put the 1/32nd 9630 on my "Worst Farm Toys of 2007" List. Hopefully Britans gets their issues resolved or more Britans Releases will end up on this list. Until I get a better 9630, I rate it at 1 out of 10. Take Care Jason B
  9. Hi Yeah The Dealer Edition & Waterloo 9630 are in deed the same as each other. Only difference is the box between the two & the Waterloo edition should come with a picture/poster of the Waterloo employees by two 9X30 series tractors & I am guessing an inscription on the 9630 Waterloo saying it is the Employee edition. Would not mind getting the Waterloo edition but the Dealer edition is sweet from the pictures I have seen. Take Care Jason B
  10. Hi Sure wish I did have some pictures of it, but I have yet to pick one up. I am hoping I get one for christmas. Time will tell though. Take Care Jason B
  11. Hi Yeah, I saw the Waterloo Employee ones on ebay. I would love to have one of those editions. Theres a Special Intro one done to for dealers in Iowa and another state for get the other state but have seen it. Take Care Jason B
  12. Hi Was in at the local JD dealer this afternoon and low and behold was the the 1/32nd 9630. Did not pick it up as it is too close to Christmas, although It is on my Christmas List. Anyway I took a long look at her. I think she wanted to come home with me to join it's 1/64th twin but had to pass. Anyway it is an impressive model, probably the nicest 1/32nd Tractor from Ertl/Britains in years. Might not be a 1/32nd UH model, but it is still very well detailed. The cab detail really impress's me, very realistic. The steering wheel almost resembles the one off the Precision. I have a lot of great things to say, just looking at it in the box. With such a lovely model it is a shame that the hood( or Bonnet) does not open up on it. Have to had it to Ertl/Britains they struck a home run with this model in my opnion! Love the tires on her! A+++++ Ertl?Britans. May not be like UH in detail but is a very nice model and shows that RC2/Britans can do a nice FWD! Take Care Jason B
  13. Hi Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get replacement mirrors for the 1/32nd Precision II 8530? I took mine out of the box last night, and the model was perfect except that the mirrors fell apart in my hands before I got them on the model. The mirrors are perfect on my 8430 Precision, but not the 8530. Anyone know where I could get replacement mirrors? Thanks Jason B
  14. Hi I agree, I would also love to see a Deere 7810 or 7710 done! Those are a great tractor. Spent a lot of time in a 7810 this past fall running a Kinze Grain Cart in corn. I would take mine with MFWD & Rear duals as a "North American" version and then a 7810 as a "European edition" with front 3 point hitch and other features. Take Care Jason B
  15. Hi I just picked up both the 8430 & 8530 Precisions at a show this weekend. At a prior show they had them out on display. Simply incredible in detail. Really is making me buy more and more 1/32nd models a year now. Left mine in the boxes for now... I want to get a display case to display them. I want to seal them in the case to prevent dust. I find dusting 1/32nd Precision Models can be a pain, and if your not carryful you can damage some parts. Found out the hard way with my 1/32nd Precision II 9750STS combine. Was dusting it one day, and a few small lights came off. I don't want to take the chance with these nice models. I wonder if we will ever see Case IH Precision II #2 in 1/32nd again or was only one model planned? Take Care Jason B
  16. Hi I got the 1/32nd 8630 this year, and will be getting the 8430 with blade when it comes out, so count me in on the 8640 once it is released. It will go quick though, as apparently it will be sold with a 1/64th 8640. A lot of collectors in N/A will be buying the set just for the 1/64th version and parting out the 1/32nd version( a shame really). But I plan to keep both scales. Take Care Jason B
  17. Hi I really like the updated "7430". Too bad I can't get a hold of one over in Canada. Finding the "7530" is hard enough over here. Too bad you have to buy all that other "crap" in the set though. What a waste if you just want the tractor. Take Care Jason B
  18. Hi I would love to see RC2/Britans release updated 1/32nd Deere combines. I would take: 9870STS( north Amercian) Collector edition with 36F draper head or 35F Hydro Flex head & 12 row 612C corn head. 9770STS "Dealer Edition" with 12 row corn head and 30F flexhead "S690" European edition, 12 row corn head, 35F flexhead. Take Care Jason B
  19. Hi Interesting about the 1/32nd 8330 coming out though. Probably will pass on it though as I just picked up the 1/32nd Precision II 8430 & 8530. They are a sweet tractor though. I bet this 8330 will be along the detail of the 1/32nd 7930 or is Precision II # 5? Wished Precision II #5 was a 9X30 instead. Might be interested in it though if it is Precision. Take Care Jason B
  20. Hi Wow! only 100 made and sold out within an 1hr and a half. Would not mind one myself but the price is out standing. I bet few to none made it to North America. I can't wait for the green units to show up at dealers! I will be picking one of them up in a heart beat. Take Care Jason B
  21. Hi I would take these from UH: Gleaner A85/ MF 9895 in 1/32nd scale Fendt 936 with all around duals( or whatever model is the biggest) MF 7400 series & 8400 series John Deere 9680I WTS Walker combine( long over due in 1/32nd) Claas Lexion 600 with 12 row corn head, 30F grain head( I know Sikus is nice but UH's would be incredible) Hmmm what else.... Lets see: Buhler Versatile 535 HHP FWD with all around duals Buhler Genises in 1/16th Take Care Jason B
  22. Hi Yeah I too wish the hopper would open up. When the 1/32nd 9750STS Precision II combine was released in 2000, I was kinda hoping that Ertl would have followed with a Precision II 9880STS in 1/32nd afterwards, but I am still really glad for this high end models though. Take Care Jason B
  23. Hi Well last weekend I attended a local toy show and picked up the 1/32nd 9880I STS combine which I had to have specially ordered, since this model will not be sold through Deere dealers over here in Canada. So my 9880I STS is probably one of the very few ones to arrive in North America. I am really happy to have this model in my collection. I thought I would share my review of this model. In my opnion the new 9880 I STS "High Performance Rotar" combine is like a night and days difference between the older 9880STS in 1/32nd. The added warning and the strobe lights are nice( although the strobe lights should be red). The rear straw chopper is different compared to the older 9880STS, and the dubble fold unloading auger is another nice change with the new 9880I. Like the previous 9880STS, it also has the cab access ladder, and mounted fire extengisher, but the rear warning lights are different compared to the older 9880 STS. I was really glad to see this change with the more European warning lights compared to the older 9880. The paint detail in the wheel rims is very nice and makes the model stand out over the older non" high Performance Rotar" 9880. The cab detail is very nice as well and is the same as the older 9880 although the cab roof is different between the two. The quality control on my imported 9880I is 100% and I am very glad for that as I would not want the dealer I ordered it from to have to go to the trouble of sending it back. In my opnion this is a great model and there is enough changes for collectors to consider buying it. One nice change I like is the addition of the 12 row corn head along with the 30F flexhead with the new 9880I. I was kinda disapointed when the previous 9880 was released with only the flexhead. In all I would give this model an 9 out of 10 in my opnion. I would like to know what others think of this model and would be interested to know of other collectors in North America who managed to add the 9880I to there collection. Take Care Jason B
  24. Hi Well, I thought that I would follow up my previous review of the 9760STS Bullet Rotor Collector Edition with a review of the 9860STS Bullet Rotor, which "followed me home" from the dealer about an hour ago. As a big John Deere combine fan, I was debating weather or not to purchace the 9860STS Bullet Rotor Shelf edition combine, but decided to go ahead with it, since I have all the other "Bullet Rotor" combines in 1/64th and 1/32nd( minus the 9880STS "High Performance Rotor" European combine, which I hope to aquire soon once the toy dealer I ordered it from gets it in). Anyway here is my review of the 9860STS "Bullet Rotor" shelf edition. Unlike the Collector 9760STS, it has no handrails, warning lights, or warning decals, which is a let down, however this model is ment as a toy for kid's to play with, so this was to be expected. However the model still has some nice features, the rear wheels steer like the Collector model( thank goodness for that) and the feader house raises and lowers. The 9860STS comes with both a 30foot flexhead and 12 row corn head. Like the heads on the 9760 collector, the heads with the 9860, still have that very thin belt that drives the real on the flexhead. This I think needs to change as this belt breaks very easily( however not noticible if the model is sitting on the shelf). The belt on my 9860's nor 9760's head have not yet broke but they look like they won't last too long. The cab detail on the 9860STS "Shelf version" is pretty decent with some good detail( alot better then the 2266 put out a few years ago). One big change that convinced me to buy the shelf 9860STS Bullet Rotor was the unloading auger. Unlike the 9760 Collector which has the folding unloading auger, the shelf model has the "Standard" non-folding unloading auger. Over here in the States the "Standard" auger is still very common on new Bullet Rotor combines, over the dubble fold auger. Main reason for this is simple.... cost of the dubble fold auger option. This was a nice surprise, I only wished they did one of the 1/64th Bullet Rotor combines with the standard auger as well. In general the 9860STS Bullet Rotor may not be a UH model nor not as detailed as the 9760STS Collector, but it still has some nice detail and features to desired. One thing I forgot to mention was the 9860STS Shelf model keeps the power-cast straw chopper/spreader like on the 9760STS Collector but lacks the added paint detail. Also the cab access ladder still swings in and out despite having no handrails, another nice feature of the shelf 9860STS Bullet Rotor. Quality control on my model was pretty good although there was the usual scratches, this time they unfortunately ended up on the unloading auger. They are minor but still a little disapointing. One change that I would make for future "Shelf" models would be to remove the GPS reciver on the cab roof to futher make the Shelf models different from the Collector model. Although I still much prefer the Collector 9760STS, I still say that the 9860STS Shelf is truly a decent model and should not be overlooked by combine collectors or even 1/32nd collectors in general. I give the 9860STS Bullet Rotor "Shelf" version a 7.5 out of 10. I would have given the model an 8 out of 10, but the quality issue held me back. Other then that It is a nice machine, and even though not a "Collectors Edition" it is a whole lot better then the 1/32nd 2266 which was also a "shelf" combine.Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of my unit yet, but the following websites have pictures of an indentical unit: www.actionfarmtoys.com www. outbacktoys.com www.Alsfarmtoys.com( has a picture of one in the box) Take Care Jason B
