  1. Hi I disagree about the Britans 1/32nd 9880STS combine being poor, I think it is a good model, the detail is excellent and is very nice looking over all. It may not be Siku or UH, but is a very nice model. Actually, I am kinda tired of hearing how Britans models, are poor and Siku and UH are great. I don't want to offend anyone, but I think Britans models are very nice, they have come along way, just look at the 2266 compared to the 9880STS.... Big difference in detail. Britains are getting better in my opnion. Take Care Jason B
  2. Hi with the release of the 9680 "I" Walker combine in 1/87th by Siku, I would really like them to do a 9680 "I" Walker combine in 1/32nd scale now. Would be nice to see. I have the Siku version of the 1/32nd JD 7500 SPFH and it is a far superior model compared to the Britans model in my opnion. Take Care Jason B
  3. Hi Thanks for the posting the pictures GTS, I had planned to put some up but got busy, anyway it is a great model. I am trying to get the new 9880I STS for my collection but I have not had any luck. I am kinda hesitant to pay for shipping costs to Canada, as I am hopefully going going to school next September and need to save up for that. Hopefully some toy dealers get it in. Was told by Bill that the new 9880I STS won't be avalible in N/A : Take Care Jason B
  4. Hi I agree, I would love to see some more 1/87th combines from them, they did a great job on the 1/87th 9680I WTS John Deere combine. Was very happy to add this one to my collection and it is the only current Walker combine from Deere to date to be produced in 1/87th. Would love to see more. The last Deere walker combine in 1/87th was the 9510 NA version by Ertl.
  5. Hi I just picked up the new 1/32nd 9760STS Bullet Rotor "Collector combine. And I would just like to give my review of this new Collector combine. I think that Britans has done a pretty decent job on this model, it has all the handrails and warning lights on the machine. The cab detail is pretty good, although on future 1/32nd Collector Deere combines from Ertl/Britans, I would like to see more paint detail bringing out the different knobs and controls in the cab. In addition I would like to see the Green Star monitor mounted in the cab of future Collector Deere combines as well. The warning decals on the model make it look more realistic and they did a real nice job on the new rear chopper. Also Britans did a great job on the new dubble fold unloading auger on this model. Very impressed by this feature! It has all the standard work lights as well. One added detail I would like to see is a work light mounted on the unloading auger( but I can live with out it). Over all I am pretty impressed with this collector model. There are a few quality issues, but very tiney on my model and it seems that Britans is getting better at that. I give this model an 8.5 out of 10 with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best. I gave it an 8.5 instead of a 9 because of the small quality control issues, such as a couple small scratches in the plastic on the cab access ladder. Also the grain header still has that tiny fragile plastic belt that turns the reel and table auger in the grain head. This belt brakes very easily, I have had it happen on the other grain heads with my other 1/32nd Deere combines(ie: 9760STS Shelf version(2004 version, 9860STS Coll.ed, and 9880STS European version) This is something that needs to be changed. 6. Hi Yeah the 2266 was crap.. The only good detail on it was the engine compartment and even then it was limited. I was extremely disapointed that the grain tank covers never opened to revel the inside of the grain bin. I must say the John Deere 9880STS in 1/32nd is much more detailed then the 2266. Even though the down side to it (9880STS) is plastic, it still has far better detail then the 2266. It even has detail inside the grain tank. I am hoping that Ertl/Britans brings out an updated 9880STS. Take Care Jason B
  7. Hi I would really like to see Ertl/Britans Produce a 1/32nd model of the John Deere 9660WTS conventional combine. I think it would be a great model companion to the new 9760STS coming out this August. Maybe Ertl/Britans could do both the European and North American versions. Would love to see another John Deere conventional combine produced. I belive the last 1/32nd John Deere conventional combine was the 2266. Take Care Jason B
  8. Hi I just thought I would share with everyone that www.VankelysFarmToys.com has a picture of the new Cat Lexion 590R combine. It indeed comes with a 16 row corn head and a 40F Flexhead. It has dual front wheels and rear flotation tires. It also has handrails, and cab detail! The grain bin looks like it might open up, but I am not 100% sure. Still it looks like a great model, and even though I collect John Deere, I will probably add this nice model to my collection. Take Care Jason B
