Cellophane front/top, "STRAW" or Wheat box as some refer to them, with semi-cicular card backed tray.
Thanks for that Nigel ,mine came unboxed but at the moment lives in achevron box which is a bit late .I can soon rectify that though when I next have a rumage in the loft .

Looks like it has improved with age, superb
Yes that was a nice surprise to see one of my old ones again .
I am going to contact another mate for whom I made a County 1474 and Roadless 94T .
He only lives locally so I am going to go and photograph them and post them up on here .

The pictures growing, think your worse than me & old ford put together
Yes I would say 90% of my collection is Fordson/Ford with a few masseys thrown in .
-
OK Cheers for that
-
very please thanks still looking good. 8)
I'm really glad to hear it,yours was my first conversion which was posted and I do worry sometimes .Even the most well packed parcels end up a box of bits sometimes !
-
Dont tell me the box is superb as well?
No that one isn't boxed but I do have another 2 like it and one MIB .
-
My green ACROBAT is the same shade MIB.
Which box should they be in Nigel ?
Are they early sleeve/plinth or later ?
-
No its an excellent all original one even down to its exhaust and tow pin .
-
Hope you were pleased with it and nothing has fallen off ! :
-
yes I did see that one in the mag and it is the only other one I have seen .I thought it was unusual when I got it .I think it came in a swap deal with my mate and some of my conversions because I also have the blue battery powered elevator .

I'm in love, i'll take one now please, what are those back wheels off?
Well I wish I could tell you .If I remember corrctly I bought them off Brian Holmes at Tractor World a couple of years ago .They were white metal and very nice indeed .Because I have been busy over the last year I haven't been out and about to see what other wheels are on offer .I could contact Nigel and buy some scaledown wheels ,they are very nice .
-
Yes I know what you mean .
I've got a few more old 6600 chassis castings lying around so its going to be a few more conversions on them when time allows .
-
better if it was massey
I have done the odd conversion on Masseys in the past but there seem to more Britains Fords to start off with so they seem to be the obvious choice .
-
thanks for that .

Heres a picture of the first tractor I sold on ebay in April 2005 .

and heres my farm lorry
-
Hers apic of my army lorry and clockwork trailer combination .
-
So which one do we think should be in the set cos all my literature that i am rumeraging through wont confirm either way
I think its possible to find light green or the blue pictured .
I will see if I can post up a picture of mine to compare colours .
-
Someone suggested to me once that the blue trailer is for the 6 wheel lorry (RAF?) & the green one is for the farm tractors but I don't know for sure. Certainly the green one is not the dark green of the lorries, but then the blue is not RAF blue is it? \
Evening Nigel ,the clockwork trailer I have is the dark green army one but I know the lighter green one you are talking about and I have seen the 4 wheel farm lorry in the light green .
