Better now that I have silver/grey decals.

That trailer looks the bizz Marky,I also love the 65.

The only problem I am having is with the width of the bonnet and grill.

Its a bit narrow really but it looks OK i think.

Because its a bit on the small side it doesn't come down low enough at the front which is why I have fitted a piece from the corgi at the bottom of the grille.

I will try a britains grille ,I may be able to cut it down on width ? \

Tam is right,its a corgi bonnet.

I will finish it off and see how it looks.

Just messing around with a siku te20 again and thought it might make a ford 2000.Just close one and squint with the other and it looks OK !

Also thinking that the chassis could make a bmc mini or leyland 154.

Yes ,I removed the strips.

If you are careful and very lucky you can get them out with a very fine knife edge like a scalpel.They are usualy brittle though so take care.On mine ,the steering wheels were broken off so I split the castings which meant that I could push the strips out from the inside.Hope that makes sense,its one of those things which is easier to do than to explain.

I would like to think that they are worth a bit ,mind you I have paid a bit for them.

I would hate to sit down and work out how much they have cost.

I could have bought a nice real tractor for the same money !

While I was sorting out my Fordsons I found this little fella hiding in the corner.

Hes the only massey I own now.

I've often seen the older ertl jd tractors at toy fairs and never thought about buying them to convert.They look a treat .

I know the tyres you mean now,but sadly I don't have one of the early vehicles with that type.

I was thinking of more brown on the sides of the trailer but I now think it looks OK as it is.

No,all of the e27ns have quite fat tyres.How skinny are the skinny tyres then ? \

Where did you get the 'canvass' cab from (on the major). I have seen them at shows before on different models

The 2 Fordsons are original but the 5000 supermajor is a repaint I did about 3 years ago.
