Newray Mercedes Actros Double drive. Already done one collection on its maiden voyage to Sparrowlegs contracting services. Just think how many vintage tractors can you bring in on this to that fancey new workshop of yours to work on!
Simple conversion, stretched Newray Mercedes Actros and fitted susies.
Front.

Tris, that is looking spot on and can't wait to see it finished.
-
thats true, the shed builder never thought of that! hope he thiks more when designing at work his mind was maybe more on "gold" at the time
Monkey, You got what you asked for! Something you want to tell me as you and Thomas seem to be obsessed with gold!
-
Well done Monkey!
Looks good. You may want to watch that that person sat at their desk on that top don't fall off or there could be a health and safety issue with no guard rails.
-
It's a long way but it isn't impossible.
Nothing is impossible Tris, you should get yourself up here! after all I came down to Toytrac for a day. How you getting on with your T Cab? Send it up and I will give it a good home .
Minstrals, only just got them and contary to popular belief I would have shared them but nobody asked!
-
Hey Sparrowlegs,
You will have to watch that the 360 driver doesn't get any pig poo down your neck, like he managed to the chicken poo! won't you?
Oh by the way Thomas sends his best wishes........and said get a wash!

Bonhill is a import/marketing company based at Beverley (were at South Cave) and also imported Fendt tractors up until Agco buying Fendt. Think that they also imported other agricultural stuff as well.

Think that link should be it.

Yeah same around here. They always have been. I think they get on better in the heavy clay.
If you ask two members of the family with the two Cats near Thorn, they aren't real keen on them. Maybe Sparrowlegs will shed some more light on this!

some hedges on a local farm, they are cut in a wave patern, you have to see to belive! never seen such a mess in all my life, laughed like mad when i saw them, i couldn't make that much mess if i tried the joke is the farmer has still got him on the flail making a mess every were he goes
Must be one that he copied off you Sparrowlegs! Only joking maybe not as your mate was full of praise yesterday. (You know, after attacking that hedge that you said you couldn't do and then did.....)

a local farmer contractor runs a deutz fahr combine in the area nr were i live, 4c will tell you more about it
Oh will I Sparrowlegs! Oh wall here goes. Up until last year Contractor ran a Deutz Fahr Topliner 4080 HTS (as pictured). Swapped it just before last saeson for another Deutz, a 5690 model. The following picture is from last year gathering up some very laid wheat after the June flooding that we had round here.

the layout is amazing, i have been invited by mick to visit him and see layout but havent as yet great to see a couple of holderness models convos on there
as for the volvo, its a newray/wellie unit streched and a john hardy resin artic grain bulker cut down (pm me if you want one) and placed on the chassie mick has made his own streched 8 wheeler, he asked 4c to make one but he must have got bored of waiting ha ha!
Seen as you know so much, you know so little Sparrowlegs. Mr Cooper (to you) was interested in a hook lift 8 wheeler, NOT a bulker.

Tandem drive is too expensive to tax Nick
It doesn't lift Mike no, this is a test/practice piece really. A tag lift I see being a little easier than a mid lift, not much space under there! I'll have to get on to Mark for some secrets
Steady on Tris!! What do you want to know?
-
only ben to repile, whats wrong with it?? open to ideas
Wants a lick of paint, (I know that you have already said that BUT... would look better) other than that okay I would say. All the spare time that you have I thought that ypu would of have painted it anyway!

Hey Sparrowlegs
You didn't tell tht you were expanding your empire, from flailing to labour hire, model dealer etc etc........
..... now even branching out into SCRAP dealing (Sparky won't be happy!). I can see it now in neon lights. Sparrowlegs Special Scrap Ltd

No, out Cambridge way (marky/FB teritory) although it looks like they will be covering even more ground soon as they've picked up another power station further north according to the website.
I beg to differ with you there FP. I think that you will find that they are on an old airfield between Hull and Bridlington. Spent many an hour working on them big balers and Ontop lime spreaders in the summer time on breakdowns and the winters on pre season checks. A few years ago now I might add, got out that game!
-
I must get my Bull nose finished!!
Yes I think that you are right Tris, you must get it finished!!!!
-
Ha Ha , that looks a bit odd without that tyre you busted !!!
-
Funny that you should mention this as I spent the weekend leading spuds from a Grimme SF 1700 (abit different to the one in the photos) and 3 other trailed harvesters. The Grimme is a fair machine 3 wheels and a track. Only just went faster than the trailed machines. Only one that I know of in East Yorkshire, however I think that are a few on the Driffield Wolds as that is were this one came from 2nd hand.
