  1. Cut and shut job, really just to see how it'd look. Box bodie lifts of to make flat if required.
  2. Sparrowlegs, I ain't rung ya because they ain't come in yet!! This is from another source.
  3. Here's ya so called Truck Volvo FH16 610. Delivered today. Still not as good as a Scania. Nice model though, loads of finer details, more than I have seen on any Newray model before.
  4. It also could be a late 92 or 112 as the firm were I worked had an E Reg 112 320.
  5. In all her glory The 8 Wheeler, 6 Wheeler's big brother. Painted in Sparrowlegs red.
  6. No, beacons were already fitted to doner tractor unit by sparrowlegs. 1/32 driver will have to avoid low trees or will knock off!!
  7. 6 wheelers brother to be. Building still on going, but heres a little taster of the 8 wheeler.
  8. If that is the case must try harder with the next one!!
  9. No copying now boys! its not that good.
  10. Rear view for Deere-est. Sorry haven't got photo with crane out and extended. Can do one if wanted.
  11. Budgie. Can make a start when you get a doner! FP. Thats a good question. I have found that bolting the ends to something the length that you want to entend by seems to work best then form the chassis rails to that. hope that helps. Smurf. I have bought them from Truck shows and Wilko but I have never seen them in Toys r Us round here, Wilkos used to stock them, but no longer seem to. We do have a Toymaster that sometimes has them in, otherwise truck shows are a good source. If the trailor that comes with your tractor unit isn't what you want, why not make your own! schw84. Correct me if i am wrong FP, but I think the low loader that they usually come with are more plant derived isn't it and I think it does come with either a Renault Magnum or an old shape MAN.
  12. That looks well Sparrowlegs, were ever did you get the idea from. Any more projects on the agenda with all that spare time you have.
  13. I think you are all getting a little bit carried away with yourselves. This display was at a local show, set up on thae day before. Wasn't decided to put truck on until late on Saturday night. Who said that it was fert, set in September could it not be seed corn? Then I think you'll find no need for haz-chem boards etc.
  14. Sparrow legs, I think that you'll find that it is MY MAN TGA and 45ft flat on YOUR layout. Correct me if I'm wrong?
  15. Try Truck shows and or truck accessorie suppliers. Have you got a CDC near you?
  16. Now now you two calm down! The DAF is in the supplied colour. Demonstrater Orange. And yes the trailor is home made. I personally think that the chassis sits to high on the 5th wheel thus raising the body floor to much on the Newray trailor. So I made my own.
  17. I think Sparrowlegs has got mistaken, as the on the layout was the MAN TGA, here's the only picture that I have of the Daf 95XF. MJB, I think that you are very confused as the Daff drivers would rather be Scania drivers
  18. Hi Deer-est I only used wood as opposed to plastic as I had a bit at my disposal and if I did something that I didn't like it didn't realy matter I could just get another one out. However you are right alot of joints, time to leave in clamps. But I do think if you have the time to do abit and leave it to set you will get the desired effect. You'll have to post a pic when its done! 4C
  19. Hi Marky It is a MF Scat Loader 516 by Joal @ 1:32 scale. I feel an excellant model, lifts and tips enough at full height, detatchable front bucket and agri pattern tyres. Joal aren't against using the same tooling either as I have an identical Volvo MC70 skid steer, the only difference been colour and decals. 4C
  20. You are right "Doc" the one next to the back is a Massey Ferguson. Just a little bit of a collection that seems to have snowballed!
  21. Only got one picture tipping, will take some of some other angles etc AsI have already put I do not us the Newray bodies I make my own. I do however use the wheels and axles from the trailors to stretch units to make tri axles.
