  1. well he got her over to the shed to start digging out the next trench end the tractor went off with another load hope you enjoyed this the start of the yard works again
  2. the first of many loads of broken concrete and hard core leaving the yard. ( hope he has some where propper to dump that) would you belive that the track broke how long will this take to fix the driver finaily got it fixed
  3. here comes his john deere 7530 and dump trailer with all the storm water pipes
  4. after telling me he was going to be here yesterday morning (monday) ,he finaily arrived this morning back to put in the drains that he should have put in when he poured the yard here he is arriving in the artic with the digger on board getting her unloaded

  8. hi tris sorry i could not reply straight away but there was big trouble down on site, i had to go down and have strong words with the groundworks contractor i got in to do the yard . it nearly went to blows, but as i am a BIG man ( 22 stone ) the groundworks contractor backed down ( wise move ). so he will be back when the concrete drys to put in the drains and gullies that were in the quote, it just goes to show if you pay peanuts all you get is monkeys
  9. the sheds were build by model ed from mitchelstown, he is on there
  10. i used tile grout some pva glue and some water, i did a search on here and coppied some one else
  11. sorry i got to take no pictures during the big pour as we were short a few hands . so here is the finished job, lets just no one walks accross it or no live stock get out, as we are waiting on the gates to be delivered from the co-op ( come on coxy ) we thats enough for today i'm off down to the pub ;)
  12. its been a very bust few days down at the yard, we got the big yard hardcored and got the concrete poured this morning. here are a few pictures i got to take, the digger waiting for the concrete lorries to come. a quick look up the road and hey look whats coming the first two loads
  13. hi nick the fencing posts are around 100mm apart ( 10 ft in real scale ) and are 6mm dowel cut to 70mm long then i drilled a 6mm hole where i wanted the post to be and you know your self. the wire is plasterers scrim tape sprayed silver and cut down in size attached using a little pva glue and the top strand of wire is just sowing thread hope this helps jason

  16. well there are some things you just have to live with ..... its bloody cold out there : i'll put the contract out for the demolition soon ( around may should be warm enough by then ) let me know if your interested ;D
  17. the steaks are 6 mm and 8mm dowels and the net is plasterers scrim tape cut down to size and sprayed silver, and the strand of wire is tread from the sowing kit, hope that helps jason
  18. hi all i got the farmers lane fenced today, see what you think, got the rest of the main hedge done, just the small srubs and stuff to go in now tractor just used to show size jason
  19. thanks nick its 2 2*1 on top of each other to give the height thanks have a long way to get up to your standard thank you lad cheers roy thanks johny but i took the idea from markduck thanks ed, bit by bit we'll get there. hope to pour the concrete yard this weekend so the sheds can go back in thanks painter i hope to have more up today
  20. it is tris, i took the idea from some one on here, i think it was markduck, i got the liner from b&q it was reduced, i think it looks ok i am happy enought with it
  21. get a little bit of work done on the hedges over the weekend, tell me if they look any good as i am not very artistic. all pointers would be great thank you jason
