  2. no problem simon here is what i used in the baling diorama

base is mdf and routed around the edges

base covered in pva then fine wood dust sprinkled over, excess shook off

straw windrow is scenic material this is foliage happened to be the right width it comes in strips to get the height i stuck one on top of the other pva again and then covered with mdf dust/shavings

grass verge scatter material pva the edge of the plynth and sprinkled on the grass

models covered with pva by brush in strategic places then sprinkle the entire model with softwood dust and then shook off .if you look at brochures etc ,or as i have done, worked with the machines you know where the straw settles cheers paul

  3. Paul,

Yes you need to remove the old hitch from the underside, the rear likage arms and the small plastic cover that represents the pto, from memory you will need to remove the small lug from the siku hitch too.

I have some tracks but non spare at the moment.

I'll keep an eye on this topic so if you have any problems when you do the conversion just post on here and i'll try and help.

many thanks for your reply ,thanks if i get stuck i will post, when all done will post the finished display cheers paul
  4. just to add britains have for the last 4 years launched models at the beginning of the year and then a 2nd release in the autumn also from a very reliable source the mf 7580 is the allis chalmers model britains have a very limited mf licence and personally for me im glad as the uh models are far superior in detail fine for me as i like to display with dioramas but bad for carpet farmers as uh models will not take any abuse, paul
