  1. wonder if they will control the normal rear ones that way soon then, have to agree about weight on front mind, our old bomford was on the 690 or 699 and that pulled  the front up, and it was prob half the size of that

front mounted definitely way to go  i have done many miles with front mounted flail on u1650 unimog, makes a tiring job much easier
  2. guys wonder if any of you can help.been hunting down images of dowdswell ploughs for a future order, but for the life of me can't find what i am after, cant find any pics yet from my nans, so kind of stuck

it would have been early 80's when bought same time as the mf1250, was 4 furrow built plus one extra added reversable , had a solid metal wheel not tyre, which free dropped when you turned, didnt have any spring ect on it other than for depth ride  and was fully 3 point mounted  for the life of me cant remember the number, and sadly neither can my uncles ,who have been through some of their records for me  can any one help with at least a model number for those years, ,give me something to work from,

dowdeswll dp 8 mate lighter version than the dp7, i think they may have had fabricated legs
  3. I don't really hate Massey's Brian it just they are so so common and every rally I go to you just see so so many of them. It was like Escort XR3i's when I was younger everyone wanted them or had them ;)

ford xr3i cars were called tampax because every bleedind ???? had got one!
  4. Remember that from that camera angle, perspective will make it look a little bigger than it is.  I would say that it is about the right size for the machine for use as a corn bucket.

There isn't really much to see from the rest of the catalogue - the new MF 7465, JCB 7230, CaseIH Maxxum 125,  and Ford FW 60 are only shown as pics of the real thing.

The rest of the 'new' items we have already seen better pics of on here (JD8440, JD5430i Sprayer) or we have probably already seen them 'in the flesh' - NH T6070 (which is only a redecal on the TS135), JD 7930 Radio Control and Combine Header Trailer.

i agree just right for a corn bucket, despite side irons the fork looks good too - bit of an identity crisis muck fork or silage fork?.
  5. isnt this just another britains re run on the same tooling but different detailing??? wheels dont look that much different :-\

the front fork does look good thoe, right size for the machine at last ;D

any pictures knocking about with the new bucket?
  6. the small tractor on the pump in the picture came with a front linkage when i bought it this week i hope to put the linkage on the tractor with the tanker on so i can carrie an ariator round on the front when im zero grazzing in the summer i apply 2000 gallons of slurry to the acer , so the ariator will make slots infront of the tanker , this will be the same theory as injecting slurry but will save me £14,000

very clean tidy set up with clean healthy and contended looking stock mate
  7. yer i bet you lucky git  :D :D

i too have been a quarry shovel driver the best fun is when people are adamant of the weight they want and you know the trailer isnt suitable you just give em what they ask for!. then just tootle off in the shovel to load the next person leaving them with what they asked for. if its busted plenty of pushy power to get them out the way.
