Different to the colour scheme I have based my replacement driver on-red top,black boots,trousers and hat.

Thanks did some research in to colours before from images butI did not know if he was glued to the seat or not.

So I will not glue mine to the seat then.

was the driver loose or was here stuck to the seat on the original?

Thanks will look at a UH Celtis or BM Volvo chassis as a base now for that red cab top...

As anyone else got any pictures of theirs?

Thanks MJB1 got the thread was not if it was the Volvo Bm for a 399.Always thought the 399 was a totally new tractor from the ground up with a new engine gearbox.Think your 698 turbo 4wd is brilliant,but only ever drove a 699 and still have only one cab and floorpan to work with.

Tackle it yourself Fred! I'm not sure which model it is you mean... is it the one with the 600 series cab on it?

The 2000 series chassis might well be too big.... I'm sure if you start a topic and show your progress and ideas I'm sure you'll get some suggestions on what parts to use.... I know the 2000 series bonnet has been modified for use on 600 series models successfully... That just leaves you with which chassis you want... how about using the age old conversionist's method of bolting it all onto a UH chassis?

Er time... I'm a fair railway modeller- scratch builds,respays and modifications.Also can use an air brush reasonably well,lathe,solder and have knowledge of vacuum forming, even though my own home vaccum forming machine did not work.Also have painted figures and started RC plane building.Have live steam trains as well.Also own a milling machine but not done much with it.I have a number of projects on the go and bought another one other the weekend Bowman 4-4-0 (234) to restore major job.Certainly a good farm yard bodger!Pretty good airgunsmith and have respayed/ touch up equipment for colour brochures.Have an NCA and NDA but only a part time agricultural worker these days,sadly forced to move on.I also have a degree.

Yes unless I can send it for someone else to do,and get it back with the left overs.

I have a plastic Ros 1114 1/32 scale tractor which I would like to convert into a Massey.

I like the Britains 698t conversion on here recently but would rather have a 699 that I have driven, but have not seen any that I like.

The Britains 2640 chassis I feel is to large.

The other tractor is a 399, again the conversions I have seen do not look quite right.

There are a number of manufactures that make what is called a canopy glue.It dries clear without a trace,allegedly.

Not used any as yet because I have not be able to get any, every time I go to buy some there's none in stock.

Fred will there,as he has some bits to pick up, have not been for a while.

Not into labels and I know where I live.

It is one conversion that I do like 11  out 10!

The Corgi  MF65 had a Corgi Ford 5000 linkage fitted to it.Think it went for £65 on ebay.

What wheels did you use?

I have seen a Corgi 65 on ebay with a Corgi linkage fitted.

Has any one put a working rear linkage on the Siku grey Ferguson,Corgi David Brown and Corgi Massey 65/165?

I believe that UH are introducing a  small scale Ford 5000 Super Major  (like the 1/16 model in their range) what scale is it and when will it be out?

I have "googled" it and there are references to 1/32 and 1/43 scales, but no pictures.

According to a retailer that I had a chat with yesterday it is due in October and not before.
