  1. If anyone is interested there is a Korean made diecast of a Massey Ferguson 399 on tha well known aution site. Still time for the bidding war to begin but I paid more for mine. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176298604725?
  2. I bought two, one from Jadlam and the other from Kings baby shop both had their seals broken and had been opened. I returned the one of them and have order one from Udimore, hopefully he will be kind and send me a gold one.😉 There should be a “name and shame” list if any of the manufactures decide to do something of that nature in the future, so potential customers can purchase from honest reputable dealers.
  3. The dual power and the 4wd are not working. Can anyone help? Thanks.
  4. A combine can be viable for a 400 acre farm.
  5. It is off a wooden plinth and I think it is worth more than £80 as I have seen two make £85 about 8 years ago with damage and without a wooden plinth. It was a jubilee model given away with the real tractor. It has the reg. no. engraved on th rear number plate. Thanks for the help. Like most things it is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.
  6. Someone on here must have an idea what this is worth?
  7. The problem is it is a rare item and I doubt that one has been sold within the last 30 days!
  8. What are the prices like for farm related models at the moment on eBay? Is it a good time to sell that Ford 7810 (see what’s it worth)?
  9. Thanks but I would like to do it myself largely because they are small parts/one off and I have cast white metal in the past and a skill I would like to achieve.
  10. Thinking of selling this (see attachment) and wondered what it would be worth as it is quite rare. I have seen two four wheel drive version sell for £85 at auctions and that was well over five years ago. Both appeared to be in similar condition and missing their original plinths. It needs a bit of restoration work. I do collect Ford / New Holland but have a preference for Massey Ferguson. I have actually spent more time, sat on, around and underneath blue tractors that the ripe ones. Also from my own experience I prefer a 7610 to a 7810 a feel the 7610 is much under rated.
  11. Resin for casting parts. Simply what type, where from, how to do it and the cheapest? Thanks.
  12. Can everyone do that without supplying the supermarkets? As for food wastage the general public needs to be either re-educated or made aware of the situation as food supply in the future is going to become a major problem (from an increased population and pessures imposed on land). I feel it is a great shame that we are loosing so many smaller farmers and it is getting harder for people that would like to join the industry. The buying power of supermarkets do not help this situation? I think there should be a cap on a producers physical size to help reverse the trend.
  13. No not worked for them, but have worked in the area. The family farm was near to one of their farms.
