  1. Truth be told i`ll always have a place for a fergie as it was a 135 i first learned to drive & the farmers still got it ,a round winged C reg 1969?

  2. Oi thats a bit harsh isn`t it he`s brave enough to show us his tractor & all you lot say is nice baler ,nice field ? c`mon guys give him a break. :(

    nice bales ! ;)

  3. There`s one working somewhere in devon as i looked into it when i had the farm ,but the ground was all clay so i`d of made a right old mess in the winter? !

another system i looked into was a silage sausage called ag-bag which basicly does the same thing except with loose silage so instead of clamping or a heap in the field you`re left with a long sausage shaped ,air tight  silage system .

If you look at the wrapper you`ll see  that the bed after the last bale is a succession of rollers so  the wrapper unit is effectivly moved along by the weight of the bales, gravity in motion if you like ! ;)

Nice pic of the fergie, it not often you see the 2wd model.

  4. Very nice pictures though mjb1, like the buckrake on the front loader. ;)

Thanks pwrstr I think the loader suits the 7710 ,but i`m down to one loader as the other one is beyond repair ,i have to rely on the 2 jcb 520s normally  as the loader is usualy on the 7000, or the fergie 590 4wd.

  5. Just keep taking the deep breaths.? They were certainly a sight to behold.? Had to tell them I was compiling a record of the local farming year so they were not concerned about the spotter with a camera.

I just tell them I`m going to post them on this site & give them the address, their interest immediatly picks up when their tractors are on a web site .

STILL DONT GET STUCK ON WET GRASS !!!!!! spent two hours today pulling a bmw out of the field cause he new better an got STUCK  (bmw= bloody minded ******)

    1/32farmer mostly pulls BMWs with his fastrac ! :D :D :D

  7. Having spent 3 yrs blowing feed into them i`d say it was about right ,by the time you`ve got the bottom cone on it  you`ll only have room to push a feed barrow under it & by the time you`ve put the support struts & brace bars on the legs  the gangly apperance will dissapear.

Are you planning to have a gravity feed straight into the pigery or a mechanised flexi auger ?

Looks ok coming along nicely. :)
