  2. You have done a very very nice model. Congratulations!!!
  3. Thanks everybody! Eurodeere, this imitation SG2 was built by "mansilla cabs", and they was mounted on JD 40´s and 50´s series, built in Spain. Regards and thanks again!
  4. Hi Eurodeere: In Spain, the 40´s series was sold only the 4000 series with SG2 cabs, because those tractor were imported from EEUU or Germany. A little of history: (Note: the dates are aproximately) In Getafe (Madrid, Spain), John Deere Ibérica built some models of tractors that no were sold in other countrys. Before, this factory builted Lanz tractors. Due to the Dictadure, the sales market from importation was very limited, only can sell wery low unites of models imported. This is the reason because the brands installed factories in Spain in 60´s. The first tractor than John Deere Iberica builted was the John deere 505, wiht a 3cyl perkins motor, aprox. 1962-63. In 1964, built the John Deere built the tractor JD515, wiht 40HP an 3cyl, perkins motor. In 1966, builted the tractor JD717, wiht 55HP and 4cyl, perkins motor, and in 1968, built the tractor JD818, with 60HP an a 4cyl perkins motor. Early`s 70, JD Ibérica builted the 20`s series of JD: 820 (Vigneron) , 1020, 1120, 1520, (all 3 cyl); 2020, 2120 (4 cyl) and 3120 (6cyl), first tractors with a JD motor. The little models was builted in standar versions and "vigneron" versions. All wihtout cab. Was imported very low units of 4020, 5020 and 7020 from EE.UU. Next, JD Ibérica introduccing the 30´s series of JD, with the same frame to the 20´s, but more powerfull: 1030, 1130, 1630 (all 3cyl), 2030, 2130, (all 4cyl) and 3130 (6cyl). All wihtout cab. To finish the dictadure, (1975) JD Ibérica built the 35´s series (like to the last 30´s European): 1035, 1635, (3cyl), 2035, 2135, (4 cyl) and 3135 (6 cyl). Also, there was a model 2035 wiht 4WD. All wihtout cab. Was imported the models 4430 2WD, 4630 2WD and 8430, 8630, from EEUU. in 1979, was imported from EEUU some models tractors: 4440 2WD, 4640 2WD, 8440 and 8640, and from Argentina; the model 3440. In 1980, JD Ibérica started to send the 40´series, builted in his factory. All the models had the possibility of open cab ("marco-techo") or a SG2 cab imitation, similar to SG2 cab but the control levers was in the floor of the cab, between the driver´s legs, like to 20/30/35 series. The models wiht open cab was after mounted a fritzmeister cab (squared closed cab with lateral access). The models builts was: 1040, 1140, 1640, 1840, 2040, 2040s, 2140, 3140 and 3340. All wiht 2wd and 4wd. The model 3640 only there was the SG2 cab originally. Was imported from Germany (Mannenheim): 4040, 4240, 4240S, 4440 and 4640. Middle 80´s, JD Ibérica started to send the 50´s series. This series was sold wiht open cab ("marco techo"), squared closed cab, ("Mansilla"), wiht yellow roof, and SG2 imitated cab. The models builted was: 1450, 1850, 1950, 2450, 2650, 2850, 3150, 3350 and 3650. Was imported to Germany / EEUU; 4050, 4250, 4350, 4450, 4650 and 4850. The 50´s series were the last complete series that JD Ibérica builted in Spain. Now, JD Ibérica is builting some parts for several models of JD tractors and harvesters. Maybe I forget any model... but more or less, those were the models builted. I have photos of the most models. Regards!
  5. Hi guys! Thanks for yours cumpliments, and thanks to Lord Ferguson for post my conversions photos on this forum. I am glad that you like. It is a pleasure to take part on this great forum. My first conversion model is the JD4440 EEUU, based on a ERTL 4430. The other 4000 series are based on a Henri Walker kit. The ebro tractors are based on a fordson major UH. Really, they are like that. All the sticks are made by my friend Luismi. Now, I am doing a new conversion, based on a mf3050A (in photo) for to do a new ebro 6070 o 6079, (6000 series medium). When it is finished, I´ll post the conversion. Thanks again, and regards from Spain!
