No worries mate.
P.s. Sorry for going off topic Jordan.

ment 26..not 25..
-
just my opinion on a county..well nice to look at and to see one done up. but in my opinion there awkward and only use full pulling stoner or digger trailer.. if you want to start contracting buy a 25/28/3050 john deere. or 3350/3650.handy tractors as have a 2650 and hard till beat.
regards
dom
Mmmm, one day, one day

You must hve £50k worth o Greenstar in that little lot Josh
There is that... Reckon i could swap them in for the real ones? I could yield map the garden while i'm mowing it, and perhaps stick one on my bike!
-
excellent additions to your collection josh
Thanks, not quite up to your level yet mind!

I was looking at 35s not so long ago, they're so expensive for what they are though compared to a grey fergie for instance. i'm now slowly saving up until i find a little John Deere or something that i can look after and polish and clean and take on little runs and yeah you get the idea... I would have thought the price of older Deeres would mainly be down to availability, since John Deere were never really popular in the UK until about the 80s (so i am told), whereas fergies are everywhere, i assume that must be the main reason though, the farm i started out on (the one in the growing up on a farm topic) used to have a grey fergie and a 35, my boss was about my age at the time and he used to do baling and all that on them and everything and even today he says they were lovely tractors to drive, even after all the hours on modern tractors.

you sure?!?!?!? they stuggle on flat and there is a couple big hills on the a17 heading north
Well i've driven John Deere autopowr and New Holland Auto Command, put your foot down with either of them and you'll know about it, rather than having to declutch half way through to change gear
-
Lincolnshire is mint, we can even have CVT tractors as we have no hills for them to struggle up
-
awesome, i saw a challenger going towards splading down the a17 and a few new hollands and baileys trailers
Most likely be LFP, they have 6 of them. Can't think who the New Hollands are though. Do you live near Spalding then?
P.S. TO ANYBODY READING THIS I DON'T MEAN TO GO OFF TOPIC I JUST GET CARRIED AWAY.
-
then go to college?
also i see they love sprouts around spalding
No, i finish school in 2013 and then will go onto college for 2 years until 2015.
They love any vegetables around here, and flowers too. Tulips, cabbages, pumpkins, fair few spuds as well, and they have some hellish big kit on it, for instance you know where the mcdonalds is near the show at the roundabout? The field behind that had spuds in it which were lifted by a four row ploeger self propelled spud harvester on tracks. Impressive stuff.
-
just wait until you leave school, its heaven
Ahh i know, 2 years at college after that, so bring on 2015 when i can finally wave bye bye to anything with even a slight resemblance to a classroom
-
am adventurous so i would strip it down to do, etc. but if you do this make sure you know were everything goes as there could be a problem
I'll do it tomorrow or Wednesday night, i'm half way through 2 lots of Geography homework and making notes for an essay ready for wednesday so i can't really be bothered \

Screws all over it mate, that's why i'd like to know rather than using trial and error and undoing every screw around the cab.
-
Can anybody tell me how i get the cab off this model? (The artic one this is, not the tracked one) as I want to put a driver in it for a diorama.
Many thanks, Josh.
-
As Jordan says they look really good, not so sure about selling them though.
-
cheers mate, this has actually been put on hold as im moving house so i dont think it will be finished for toytrac which is a shame
Oh dear. I moved house in March this year, packing your models is the worst job going, especially the delicate ones, thats why now i keep the boxes for all the UH, Wiking etc that are easily broken and then just wrap the other ones up in tissue and that.

Forgot my camera see

i know, used to be masseys, must be the colour mark!!!!!!!!
Either way it was a good decision!
-
Bought these back from Spalding.
This now brings my collection up to 24 1/32 tractors.
-
FIRST ONE OFF THE MARK!
I battered my wallet using:
Wiking John Deere 6930
Wiking John Deere 7430 + loader
Siku John Deere 7430 on duals
Britains John Deere 9530
Britains John Deere 9530T
Britains John Deere 8345RT
-
I love it! I thought about doing one without the loader and that, but decided against it in the end, does look good though!
-
Said on the radio earlier something about it being hotter here today than it is in Miami
-
not sure if the arion with the front loaders right for what your after, but if thats anything like the ares with loader they did a while back, remove the loader and the front linkage comes of with it, as its moulded into the loaders frame work, ?? may be worth a try, and i recon someone out there could make new decals if they are wrong from that model, plus you get the opening door ect with it to
Ahh nahh the one with the front loader is a 430 i think, it's the lower hp/lower spec version which i think replaced the Axos, but the 640 is it's bigger brother and has a different design and has controls on the armrest, hexashift gearbox and all the other gadgets etc, still in the Arion range just different designs and the 400s are a bit smaller
Britains John Deere 9530 cab.

The 6820 i drove through the summer was powerquad, it was a lovely tractor, just when on grain carting for long hours frequently shifting it becomes a bit tedious, and on land work you could never get the speed you wanted on the revs you wanted, whereas on a cvt you can choose your speed much more precisely.
