  11. Progressed well this evening, from left is the workshop, middle is an awkward shaped cold store just to make life interesting and right is the sprayer shed and chem store, above the chemical store is going to sit a water tank and be piped through the wall for sprayer filling
  12. Now work has started constructing a shed that will house the workshop, sprayer filling area and a small coldstore
  13. Have now layed some boards down on the floor and will be painted at some point as a concrete yard, here is inside the combine shed i joined together the other day
  14. No im not building the grader myself, hoping somebody will take on the challenge, complex build!
  15. Joe and Maurice were also sent off this week to pick up some roller doors with two flatbeds
  16. And this is where we are now, grading shed is on the left, the grader will be in the front half of the shed and the back half is split into two cold stores, will take pics of the inside sometime, and then on the right is what im currently working on, the combine shed, have joined the two sheds together and added skylights all thats left is to clad the last of the roof in green, also im going to ply out the floor and paint to give a concrete yard effect
  17. Here are some updates, this is what we started with two weeks ago
  18. Sorry for the lack of updates lately, iv just changed jobs and moved house! However i now have an eagerly awaited spare room, building has started on the diorama and iv teamed up with a mate to help, so far we have measured up to build a workshop, sprayer shed, several cold stores, and a new grain store, so far the grading shed is up and ready along with the first two cold stores. The project at the weekend is to finish a shed that has been started to house 2 combines and headers, this involves joining two sheds together, adding sky lights and cladding the outside in green card, fingers crossed this will be done by sunday. Pics will follow as progress contines
  19. Yes it does mate, and the back one comes off too
  20. Just thought id introduce myself, Im Alex from Somerset, currently waiting for space to build a diorama (oakley farms) fairly newish to the forum, iv been looking around it for awhile but not posted much until iv found my bearings! I just want to say what a great place this is, everybody with the same interest all in one place, fantastic for finding out info and reviews about new models and getting inspiration from dioramas, iv certainly been inspired by hillview and huish farms, fantastic work! Iv met alpinefocus, manor farm and lady ferguson at shows and i hope to meet more of you in the future. I hope to post when i can and im looking foward to commenting and being of help when i can!
  21. I know what you mean, spud equipment is hard to come by, with the introduction of the ROS Grimme harvester last year hopefully there will be more to follow in the near futute, im currently trying to source a potato grader
  22. It possibly could, iv got it sitting flush on one side but not the other, some sanding required i think but its tricky as the hinges for the folding mechanism are underneath, some more playing around i think, and work out a way of fixing
