Catching moles. I hate 'em.

I'll be throwing the biggest party ever when I finish, but my passing record hasn't been the best and I hate studying and definatly not A grade student but I just wanna finish it now even though I'll just end up a farmer I hope
You need most of that stuff nowadays, just to be farmer!

More lovely stuff. The wee Leyland is a clever idea.

The Acrobat and Haybob are a bit special - lovely stuff.

What brilliant stuff!
The Leyland and loader is superb - having second thoughts about 1/16th models already when I see your collection.

Fantastic stuff! I do like the Does and the 4000s, beauties.

I have started to photograph my models and have created a Gallery of them if anyone is interested.

I do love to see someone get a bargain!
I have a soft brush which looks like glass fibre, but becomes charged with static and lifts the dust off a model beautifully - even the delicate parts. Got it originally for PC keyboards.

590 46.2mm x 10.8mm
2640 52.3mm x 13.9mm
I don't have an 80 to hand. Same as 40?

I have tried various things, the easiest being dill and fit a 0.5mm brass rod top and bottom of door frame and sandwich between roof and floor.
I have tried drilling a 0.55mm hole through a 1.0mm plastic rod and using 0.5mm brass as the pin. Cement the plastic rod to the cab side and bend brass to suit door. This is very fragile and I don't know how long it will last.

Snap!
Sorry David, I missed your thread. Did a search too. The DBP 390T is OK but I had to sort the fronts only on the 390H
-
I was handling some models today and as I tend to pick them up by the wheels, I noticed this on the Ros NHT7070. They DBP MF 390H had a very slight stickiness to the tyre edge too.
Not trying to cause panic, but has anyone else noticed this?

What would you rather, John? For me it's snow every time, or at least the cold anyway. If you get cold, you can soon work a bit harder to get warm but getting wet is horrible when you're out all day.
Definitely snow. Winter of 2010 was, to me, ideal. A couple of feet of snow which lay for over a month, with temps below -5oC during the day. Proper 'continental' winter where a boiler suit was warm enough!.
Today is slush under the fresh snow on saturated land - messy tomorrow.
-
After rain and gales yesterday, it's snowing big time again today - what a bloomin' country for weather.
-
Missed this. I do like that short nose as well. Very clever modelling.
-
Another very nice model, finished off beautifully.
-
I used to have a 4m and that looks pretty close to the mark. Cracker!
-
Maybe a modicum of heat with some lubrication - e.g. cooking oil - which could be gently removed with detergent and water after? Just a thought.
-
Looks well Sean. Not over the top, but weathered.
-
Very nice job. Did you cast the bonnet?

I'm not going to single one out - they are all crackers.
