  1. Reece I was referring to the photo of said tower on your website. What is the tower for/built to mark or so on?

Yeah,i know ha ha!,i was wondering how you know its name.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaine_Memorial

Thatll explain it better than I could,I think he was also a key figure in the larne gun running (an important event in NIs history) but as explained there he played a big part in the history of the town.

  2. Welcome aboard Reece, i'm sure you'll really enjoy it on here. As a very keen machinery photographer myself i've just had a proper look at your website and videos, you've taken some superb pictures. Looking forward to your contributions.

    Cheers mate :)

    I hope to not disappoint!

  3. No idea what the computer is running......I click on an "e" and the internet pops up (think its Windows 7)

Right click on picture, go to properties and copy the URL :)

That would be Internet Explorer, the less favored browser amongst web surfers but still,it does the job.

Again, just make sure you arent unintentionally nicking pics mate, always make sure to get permissions or give credit :)

  4. Where do you get the URL from?

Right click on the image and depending on your browser,if your on firefox click 'copy image location' if on chrome click 'copy image url' should be something similar for other browsers

  5. Why not use Photobucket Barry....its free up to a certain limit. After than there is a yearly subscription but it is only something like $ 20 or $ 25. In my opinion much easier to view posts on forums

Just pointing out another option, sorry to intrude. But if an image is already on the internet you can put it on a post simply by copying its URL and putting it between and this works for anything from google images to facebook, though when taking pics from fb do make sure to credit the owner or to ask them!

  6. Nice site Reece and with a surname like Robinson I just have to support you ::) ::)::) Can you add FTF to your links page :-*

I certainly can replace another site with it :P

Welcome to FTF, Reece. This is a site where you will be happy, I am sure, as we are a mad (and friendly) bunch of enthusiasts. Love your photos.

    Thanks mate :)

    Thanks very much sir :)

Ill get it updated in the near future :P

  8. What is the James Chaine tower all about? It's a nice photo that. Also the JCB TM working in a tight spot, you take a good photo. Nice site you've built there. O0

How do you know about the James Chaine Tower ha ha!,you ever been to Larne?

    Cheers mate :)

  9. thanks guys, just a shame we don't see a production trailer l;ike this with all the older kit arround now, took some doing, the woods all individual wood strips, took ages to find a nice one with stains and knots in it, with the darker look to it to.would have had silage tops to, but pettite never made a 8 ton one just 6 then 10's

I had an idea for a scratch build something like that a while back, something like a home build silage trailer. I was thinking about using lollipop sticks, like you can buy in packs of hundreds in arts and crafts shops, cut the curves off and then trim them to size. Was thinking this idea could be useful for future projects like that for yourself.

    Just an idea!

  10. Nice to hear you have found a better experience, Reece. That's all anyone wants at the end of the day. Off to take a little look at your weebly now mate. :)

Ive been a member of another forum,a northern irish model forum, some may know it ::) for over 2 years and when it turned into a generally horrible place i decided to revisit here and seen that this place has become a very nice place,i definitly am impressed and plan to stay.

Welcome aboard the luxury liner that is, FTF. There are plenty of other Costa Concordia's out there Reece, but this place sails away from the rest. I'll have a little peak at your site later when I'm on the pc. Look forward to seeing you posting your machinery photos up and your models too :)
