Thanks fred.I'm not looking for perfection, just a fair attempt. They're just for my own collection, models I've actually driven and none of them were perfect!not to bad at all mate you can deffinately get the jist if the model

No,its actually a Siku MF 3050 with a britains MF 362 cab and front grill.I trimmed a small bit off the front of the bonnet a bit off the mudguards and base plate to help the cab sit better, though its not a very good fit.is the 3904wd based on the 4270 mf britans made?

Cheers Justin,I couldnt think what would be a good roof for it.Its coming along nicely. 2 things id do to it now,but its your choice & you might already have it in the pipeline. #1 change the exshaust to the top of the bonnet using an old Britains Ford 6600 exshaust & air cleaner. #2 use the roof of a Britains Deutz DX110 or 92. Dave Towse would have the parts at a good price and it will be a beauty. ;)Fairplay.

Got some similar photos as you the same event!

I've got the grill and decals from Dave (5030 decals as I've driven one)and painted the cab black, got some other wee things to do and I'll post some picsIf you got a front grill from a Britains 5610 & decals from D Towse,id say thats all you would need. The cab might need a bit of altering too maybe. But it would be a good conversion & something different for a change. ;)I think the 2120 always looked a bit too big by Britains. Its the same size as their MF 362 . The Ford 4630 & MF 362 in reality were in the same power bracket anyway. Around 62HP for the MF & 64HP for the Ford.

Got one of these coming this week and was thinking of doing a 4630

You're correct with the chassis Justin, rear wheels are from it too,the front wheels are also from the 362(rears).The bonnet is from a MF2680 and the floorpan is a SIKU MF264.Only parts i reconise on it are the casting , a Britains Reault 145-45 i think & the cab is a Britains MF 362 id say. Very good first model conversion.

They're great,Over the years I drove a 365,7 390s,2 390T and 4 399s.Where I work at the moment we have a 5455 and it just doesnt compare.Have the SIKU of it.Have seen Dave's models they are amazinAlso an avid 300 series fan here too. My favourite being the pocket rocket that is, the 390T. First farm I worked on had a '91 registered 12/12 one with the 915 loader. Have spent a few days turning hay this year with a 12/12 375, a beauty too! Also waiting on an order with Dave Perdue at the moment, a 390T 4WD no less

Thanks for the kind welcome guys, much appreciated.
welcome to the nut house ian, do you have any favorite tractors your looking for then???
Sean, the MF 300 series are a favourite probably because I did more work on them as any other "breed".I'm even attempting a wee conversion of a 399,but I dont think it'll be worthy of the amazing models you guys create!
