  4. I have finally got around to photographing box no 2.So here goes. 9529 Massey Ferguson 135 in Sleeve and Plinth box. According to David Pullens book i have a 1973 tractor in a 1968-69 box which is a bit disappointing, my tractor has the external steering linkage. but i did buy this some 15years ago or so , when there was not so much information around or any reference books of any great detail to refer to.The box i have also appears to have been made up from 2 as the Sleeve has a price on of 12 shillings and sixpence and also 62 1\2 pence, and the Plinth box has a price on of 11 shillings and 11 pence. tractorman314.
  5. I was starting too photograph the 2nd box of models last night to put up on my collection, when i came across my Fysons Helicopter crop sprayer, which when i bought it some 12 years ago complete with cardboard outer box , i noticed all the parts which were white plastic had faded too the familier off white/yellowing colour. Now i cant remember if the parts were brilliant white when i bought it, but it made me wonder i anyone had any ideas as to why this happens, as it has not bben exposed to any daylight since i purchased it, but it has been stored in the loft for that time, so could it be a temperature issue that is causing the problem? Any help or advice would be appreciated. tractorman314.
  6. MuirHillBilly. Re your query regarding the secret compartments on the rear off the Massey 130 seed drill, they were for Ballast weights which were supplied with each Drill, but i do know that they were deleted from the later production ones , possibly when production of the models moved to China, i am not to sure on this, but if Ploughmaster see's this post i am sure he will be able to clarrify the situation. I have included some pictures from one of my models for you to see what they look like. tractorman314.
