Picked-up a copy at the National Tractor Show today, and it is also a signed copy by the author himself.Have not been able to put it down yet.I think i may have found an ommission already. No mention of Bamford bl58 baler produced with yellow wheels.These i have seen ,but need to check if i have one in my collection. tractorman314. -

There is also another book written by Peter Baron which was his first ,i believe which was the predecessor to the book with the yellow cover, and this covered the years 1948- 1992, i think. this book had a green cover, but i dont think it is still in print, but have seen them available at toyfairs now , and again. tractorman314.

BOUGHT A JCB 8250 YESTERDAY AT SPALDINGTOY FAIR AND , I THOUGHT I HAD GIVEN IT A GOOD CHECK OVER IN THE BOX, BUT WHEN I GOT IT HOME AND TOOK IT OUT OF THE BOX , I FOUND THAT THE STEERING WHEEL WAS MISSING. I WAS NOT PLEASED. tractorman314.

New Model tractor magazine out soon

Have sent off my subscription this morning, i thought nothing ventured nothing gained. I think the magazine is being produced by Vintage Tractor ,as that is who i spoke to this morning on the telephone, and the gentleman said they had them in stock,but would not be distibuting until next week , when they get back from The Great Dorset Steam Fair. tractorman314. -

Got my copy of April Tractor & Machinery today, and the model corner review of the London toy fair by Peter Love says that there will be some new Massey's later in the year, GREAT NEW'S ,but does anybody know if this is correct. tractorman314

GOT MINE ON FRIDAY,I KNOW ITS A BIT SHORT ON CONTENT, BUT WHAT IS IN IT IS VERY GOOD.THE ARTICLE ON THE BRITAINS HARVEST ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, ONE OF THE BEST ARTICLES SO FAR. I THINK EVERYONE ON THIS FORUM SHOULD MAKE NEW YEARS RESOLUTION TO SUBSCRIBE TO FARM AND SITE SO ITS CIRCALATION INCREASE'S AND THEREFORE HELPING THE MAGAZINE TO GROW BECAUSE ITS THE ONLYONE WEVE GOT. Green flatbed trailer 42015 was available in 2004, but was not in catalogue,so not sure if they were only available from oem dealers,but i did purchase one from a toy dealer at a spalding toyfair. tractorman314.
