My finished chicken coop.

I am using green sandpaper for the roof to represent the felt, and I am using a wood oil for the walls.

For my layout I have coated it in a base layer of toilet paper and watered down pva glue. I did this so that no materials were going straight onto the wood. It also helps to create texture. I am going to use cardboard, toilet paper and pva glue to create hills and more texture.

Here are the boards. I have yet to put the final coat of loo paper on!

I have got 2 boards of wood and all the bare essentials to get the farm up and running!

Should I use acrylic or poster paint for my chicken coop?

Just a quick question. Do you think I should use mdf of ply wood for my farm layout??

I was thinking of putting sandpaper on the roof and painting it green to give it a felt-like look!

I am going to try and get some ply wood for my first layout board at the weekend!!!

Yes. I am going to paint it next week! I am planning on painting the roof black, and the sides a rustic wooden colour. What do you think???

Trying my best mate. Nearly finished.... I just need to tidy up around the edges and varnish/paint it!
