  1. Guys I hope these help-I guarantee this is the genuine article a 100% totally original unmolested MF 590-I have had this since 1977 safely tucked away in its little 100% totally original box.If it does not look like this it is not a genuine MF 590-period!!

  2. Just felt I had to come back on this one re, the Case IH Maxxum and the comment by Powerabbit-this ebay vendor is a very good friend of mine who I was speaking too last night -even he is surprised by how far this has gone and was not expecting anything like the current bid.I would point out however this is apparently a  genuine bidder from Canada to whom he has sold other items previously and it has not 'been run up by one of his mates' as Powerabbit put it-the vagaries of Ebay.Like most members on here I know this happens but please be carefull  before jumping to conclusions-all ebay sellers are not the same.

  3. I've noticed on Ebay (having sold some recently) that the Powerfarm versions of the Vicon Spreader and the Howard Rotaspreader never seem to sell as well or fetch as much money as the Maischo Power Harrow-anyone any ideas as to why? Were the other 2 produced in more numbers or over a longer period? Given that these were the only 3 implements produced in the Powerfarm range (to my knowledge-I stand to be corrected!) it has always seemed a bit strange to me.Anyone any thoughts or ideas?

  4. Could I extend this a bit further-

1)The top 5 'rarest' tractors in tems of production numbers.(excluding pre- production or experimental versions)

    2) The top 5 rarest implements or other models -again excluding those items that have become scarce through time and the above.

(Wish I Had had a ?1 for every time I had read 'rare' [allegedly!] on Ebay!!!! ;)

  5. Couple of questions for the historical experts -

    1) I noticed another 'MF 590' had appeared on Ebay the the other day-how many of these were actually produced has anyone any ideas,I know the production run was only around 12 months but just wondered if anyone had ay idea of numbers?

    2) Britains 'rarest' tractor any one any views or ideas-(accepting the fact that the word 'rare' appears to be a somewhat  overused on Ebay !!).By rarest I mean in terms of numbers produced rather than the older models that have come scarcer over time.

    Thanks guys.

  6. This guy is a bit crazy and obviously has money to burn-I came across him about 9 months ago-he was paying crazy money for stuff then! He always seemed to bid on the stuff I was after-he sent me a message once via ebay asking if I had a million to spend on models I should keep bidding against him! Beware people!!

  7. I know these are not Britains guys, but check these out-and you all thought Britains buyers were crazy sometimes!!!

    Ebay item no;7007982828  :o :o-

7003130248-this poor seller must be on the verge of suicide!

7007982828-and its still not finished-some bidding war!!

Sorry I did not have time to post the links-but believe me worth a look!!!!

  8. Keep the info coming guys-don,t have the green acrobat-another hole to plug!.Will see what i can do about some photo's Deere-est,sadly I don,t have the room to display them (I also have a girlfriend with a cleaning /dusting fetish so no chance of them being displayed anyway-too much risk of damage!!!)so they are all in mint condition in thier boxes safely stored away at room temperature-hence little or no wheel melt(I think-seems to have worked anyway).
