  1. Made one up on Wednesday afternoon using an exhaust mounting brackets and a length of steel, clamped straight onto the door rail.....so simple. Will get a photo up when I have a chance. Thanks everyone for the help! :)

  2. All our controls are on a triangular wedge and have to mounting points in each cab, back corner or front window, the 5230 has a home made pole from the floor up for the front window where the baler box goes, you want a picture will?

    Yeah could you please. :)

  3. Bit of an odd one, but I was wondering what most people use to mount machine control boxes or computers inside their tractors. Reason I ask is because I've been looking at a newer baler and has a lot of electronics. I do remember seeing suction ones ones in the farmers weekly a while back, but can't remember who made them or where top get them.

    Any help would be superb!

  4. what sort of trailer is that mark a converted lorry back ???

i was thinking the same thing my uncle had a matbro she was very unrelyable only put up one or two loads each year of silage and something would go wrong also the pins wore very fast in them also but then again theirs people that swear by them :-\

Looks like a Merrick Loggin to me maybe. They convert lorry bodies into trailers near Bicestor- Probably wrong though. :-\

  5. what do you think about the merlo? any good or bad points about it? i drive a 40.7 turbofarmer and i think she's a great wee tool, one thing i dont like is the spools for changing onto or taken off the shear grab takes a bit longer because they are screw on ones :-\

Why don't you just change them over to snap connectors as I doubt screw fittings would have been a factory fit. :-\

  6. As above, anyone ever used one? Are they any good? Reason I ask is because a few of our now cultivated fields are quite hilly, so on basic operations such as ploughing I am always having to get out and adjust. Am I being lazy or would it be money well spent? ???
