  1. The current magnum range is the 225, 250, 280, 310 and 335

    Range before that was the 230, 255 and 285

    Then the original MX range was 180, 200, 220, 240 and 270

    That's great buddy, cheers. ;)

  2. Sorry Will... missed this post.. one on the A1M just after the Hatfield tunnel.. one on the slip off to the A505 and a real beauty on the 505 just before the new tunnel going from Hitchen to Royston..... an 80mph slide good an proper.. I was with Amanda.. and she went a little white  :D :D :D

    So did I come to that  :D :D

    Ah I know, so near to where CJ works in the summer. :);) ;)

  3. dried coffee works well mate but i also have some dry sived compost to, which works as good, the coffee tends to stick to wheels ect so adds to the effect ,but the tyres sink easily into it and it can not show implement marks at times, where as the compost shows the implement marks but wont stick to add the mud effect and doesnt leve tyre marks either

    What about a mixture? ::)

  4. Speed wise

    depending on soil composition    go as fast as the tractor will pull them as the movement of the soil will aid in the breaking process in medium soil

    if it is heavy soil first go with a stedy speed in the direction of the plough to loosen and levell the clods then when finished go over it in the other direction at a good speed as not to labour the tractor too much and it should break it down a fair ammount

    Does that make sence :-\

    Sure does. ;)

  5. Will,

    This is what I would do if I was using it - set the top link level - uniform depth across the harrow - also make sure both lift arms are the same length on the screws ;)

    As for depth - you need a bit of soil so drop it down 4 -5" anyways in the soil.

    As for speed usually go in 5th or 6th gear in the Ford's - go a little faster than what you plough at in the Maxxum or about the same speed as you spread fertiliser ;)

    8kph?
