  1. I'll send you the real thing down FB!!! Where do you want it parking ???
  2. What sort of drill is that supposed to be then??? Looks like a right bodge it and scarper
  3. How about a Cat MT865 crawler?? I'm sure that would be a big hit here and across the pond or as FP says a Quadtrac would also be good or a Massey Ferguson 8480. Maybe a precision implement instead a Kinze drill or chaser bin Nathan
  4. I'd be interested in one FP looks just like our real one except ours is on a tri axle. Any chance of some pics with it fully laden with round bales?? Also can you PM me the prices of the hook loader Krampe and the flatbed please. Thanks Nath
  5. No it still boxes them up, I will try and explain how it works although it's rather tricky and have partly forgotten how it works ha ha! but those rollers you see below the yellow chute well they lift up at first so you put the potato boxes under. Once your in the field you lower them down to what they look like in the pic. Then when the harvester starts unloading the potatoes fall into the chute but only go as far as the rollers as you can see from the pics there closed together nearly. Anyway once you have a fair load of potatoes ready to go in the box the rollers sort of spring back and open up letting the potatoes fall gently into the boxes. I presume you do this in all the boxes filling them half full etc then you lift all the rollers up and do it all again so you fill them to the top. I hope that sort of explains it \ Nathan
  6. Will try but theres not much to it just the big Quicke 980 loader, bonnet guard, Front and Rear weight blocks for loader, double beacons, cb aerial and thats it really.? Will see what I can do though. It also has a bale squeeze fitted to the loader normally like in the crappy pic would be cool if you could maybe make one of those for it too Thanks
  7. Nice one PDC will e-mail you in a couple of days to let you know what I want on the Deere. Will see it tomorrow as I am carting bales with it so I will have a look what else I am sure it has double beacons. Like on that John Deere 6820 with rowcrops you did for me. Will also be interested in your muck forks, buckets etc. Can never have enough attachments aswell as trailers ha ha!. Cheers Nathan
  8. Thanks old ford for the pics. Is the trailer as long as the britains version or not ??? Thanks
  9. Cheers Ford for clearing that up. Keep meaning to mod a JD 6920 so it looks like a local contractors but never have the time to do jack all. Want to add a Quicke 980 loader (converted siku stoll) to the Siku John Deere 6920 farmer + and add Agriums bonnet guard etc to it. Also want a load of attachments. Then it should look pretty darn close to the real thing. Any takers ? please Thanks Nathan
  10. Hi Old Ford, Looks like it wouldn't be too hard to convert some buckets, forks etc to fit it, would look pretty good I think. Could maybe try some buckets etc from your other models I have found that quite a few attachments fit to different models. Also Is that the JD from siku that comes with the bale trailer if so what model number is it 6920 or 6820 and could you maybe take some pics of the bale trailer please. As I have thought about getting it but want to see what the trailer is like before I part with my cash. Can never have enough bale trailers ha ha!
  11. Think the frames are on there to stop the bruising of the potatoes when there coming from the harvester. It's quite a largish drop from the harvester to the bottom of the boxes so it slows it down. I think the yellow bits are sort of like tarpaulin although I am not totally sure. As for getting the boxes out I presume you just put the tines underneath and lift them out like a pallet. Or maybe the whole frame lifts off not sure.
  12. I agree with FP, the JCB is cheap think you might struggle to get it over here at that price. Buy em both I say
  13. Looks very good Dave as usual. I will e-mail you in a few days about some bits I want off you. Just got to finish hay making :'( Nathan
  14. ?10 max, I'll happily take it off your hands. PM me or e-mail me
  15. Me thinks a Case 956, 1056, 1256 or 1456 could be made from that Dave, extend the bonnet and chassis a tad and you have basically done a 1456XL. Looks pretty good even with no makeup on, I like it.
  16. Looks good Dave . Any plans on making different sized trailers 8ton, 16 ton et and in the good old blue marston paint scheme. How much are they too? Cheers Nathan
  17. Yeah compaction is another big thing. Think I heard the same thing IHP they run 20 ton chaser bins to collect the grain from the combine instead of the big 40+ artics coming in the field. The artics now just wait on the road or headland and the chaser bin come to them. Nathan
  18. Hi Fp, I think they use them to fill the tanks up in the field. I have only ever seen it done once with a boom. The tanker in the field had a big 3m ripper on the back which injected the slurry deep into the ground so I presume it would be rather tricky, time consuming etc when it went on the road every time it needed refilling so instead they used 2 smaller tankers running to and from the lagoon to fill the big tanker in the field which they did at the headlands. Don't think there very common though. Seen quite a few big artic trucks though at the side of the road with the treated human kind that have hoses running through the hedge into the field. The tanker comes to the hose when empty fills itself up from the artic and carry's on without leaving the field. All about saving down time on the road and keeping the tanker going I think. Hope that helps Nath
  19. Looks very good John. The swaths make it look 10 times better. When can you do my display ha ha!. Nathan
  20. Yeah as FP said some numpty tried to take a piccy of it while it was still running, mucked up the camera, lost all his hair and to top it all off (pun intended ) lost both of his hands. It's a terrible shame really.
  21. Calm down ladies it's only a bogey green tractor
