Did you get that Pronar gritter off Orrels at Gisburn Lee? i went there for a job once, he handed me job on a plate but money wasnt good enough
Yes we did. They were ok to deal with. I believe they've designed there own gritter them selves. Only issue we had with the pronar was the spinner it only had a 5meter chuck out so doing big car parks you have to do a lot passes.

Washed the volvo today.. well can now say yesterday. Picked what felt like the hottest day of the year so far.
It's been in need of a full exterior clean for a while now when I was back at work we laid a new yard for my bos with road plannings he then insisted to coat it in red diesel to seal it with a bomag roller. Save to say for a couple months the tyres on the Van's and cars where slick when leaving on a night. And the paint work was covered in tar spots.
So the volvo got
Tfr rinse
Iron-x (fall out remover)
Snow foam rinse
2bucket wash
Tardis wipe down
2bucket wash again.
Tango rinse
Dried
Polished and waxed
Trims brightened up
Wheels cleaned
Tyres slicked
Outside windows cleaned. I'll post some pics tomorrow.... well later on she scrubs up well for a old tank.

Credit to whoever built this, lovely truck but people have gone mad with the bidding
I've also been watching that truck. Looks well built. Out my price range.

I like that. I'm not a massy fan but something about that looks cool. Nice work.

So as the title says clear your workbench. Found my bench getting less and less space with bits I'm gathering up, to build my diorama. So made some very quick shelving out of some scrap wood out the garage. 1 across the chimney wall and 3 down the side. I'll be doing the same on the other side to keep some models that dont have boxes with them.

As I've said fantastic work. Itll be great to see what else you decide to build. So realistic. Like said in a earlier post if it was out side with the backdrop it would look real. Great work mate keep it up.

It won't be a private plate as such will it?Last 3 letters are random & can be chosen when registering a vehicle can't they?
Your right when you buy a new vehicle you can choose what reg you have it's the last 3 digits. My brother had SD57 TON it's just a list the the seller has on the system.

Yeah Paul. I'm like yourself ...tend to lean towards the classics. For a modern tractor tough..the Valtras are nice looking tractors.
.
A lad near us was a jd man he does a bit of contracting for local councils had a couple kids not sure what. Pulled a track machine on a lowloader and the other pulled a crusher most of the time. Anyway now he runs 2 valtras must say they do look a very nice tractor never used one though. But I think you cant go wrong with the green and yellow ones. it's a nice set of models you have there.

That's some work you've done there. What would a tanker like that weigh in real life? That's massive machinery to a hill farm like us. Think it would just sink into the ground, let alone widen all the gates to even attempt to get into the fields. Great work. Nice to see the build as well. Keep up the good work.

Very nicely done mate I like that a lot something different. Great detail on it.

I think the point is Lee that the decals on the 40's and 50's are stickers rather than tampo printed (I had one or two in the early days without a sticker on), so you can easily take one off one piece and put it on another - no need for an axle swap (not saying thats what he has done). Other than that it looks like a standard issue model. These are well over priced for what they are in the first place, but adding that kind of money on for very little work is taking the mickey!
I agree I wouldn't be handing my money over at that price. Someone will though.

W T F! 'If' there is a buyer, they will have thoroughly lost the plot!
So I was watching one like this, was sat at £35 or so. Ended at £60ish. Said the reserve hadn't been met, so I messaged the seller asking them what the reserve was set at they said £125. And said these are one of a kind, as the 3050 only comes as a 2wd and they changed it to 4wd and added some extra detail.

Haha I thought my bench has a hand full of different things going on. That's plenty work there to keep you going.
My bench is a bit small realy so this afternoon I'll be making some shelving on the chimney wall to add more clutter

It's never ending realy then. But as long as you enjoy it. Me been new to it, I'm finding it enjoyable. But its expensive as I have bought some old britains tractors and some new UH ,ROS Stuff that we had on the farm when I was a boy.but they'll be staying in the boxes.
