  1. Finally finished my scratch built Richard Western bale trailer, very pleased with how it's turned out. Model is mainly brass apart from the sheet for the bed which is plasticard. Used stickers left over from James Richard Western grain trailer kit, also wheels were from James. Now onto the next project not sure what yet...
  2. Working on a scratch built brass bale trailer at the moment spent this morning working on the axles and suspension. Very pleased with the results a few more little bits to add, then just the bale ladders and trailer bed once I find a suitable material for it.
  3. Where's the best place to buy wheels for a scratch built trailer? Looked at some from perfect 32 but once postage is added they're rather expensive.
  4. Braemere Richard Western is nearly finished few more bits to add then I'll be happy. Replaced all the green steel wire with brass pins which is much better. My first sort of go with model building fairly satisfied but think I'm going to delve into brass and soldering as not really happy with the strength of this plastic type build.
