yeah Tris first time working with the spuds. theres definite signs of money in agriculture yet, lots of big new kit, combine, plough, 4 nh's, trailers, ect.. thanks, only with i had a camera though \
it pains me to say it mark but credit where credits due its a nice tractor heard people complain about the dyna 6 gear box before but dont know why, i cant really fault it
-
all sounds good, i noticed you had the driven diablo's i mentioned them to the man on the harvester the t6080 couldnt manage without the ground drive on the harvester thats for sure. we keep shifting between a couple of varieties, ambo is one of them, cant remember the other 2 and have finished all the harmony. there sold for export in big ton bags or in smaller bags for shops and asda. theres another company local who grow earlier potatoes for McCains, they were very small and had trouble selling them \
-
now then the 6495, kept this tractor in the field and swapped trailers on the road, this girl can grip, the super single tyres just dropped into the axles and the mf just pulls on, occasionally backing back to clear what its dragging in front, very impressed
the ruts were even worse the next day as it rain alot on weds/thursday night \
slippy headlands, no bother to the mf
-
now onto the potatoes, it was lovly n dry, dust was blowing... some what different now t6080 with grimme 170gt and grimme front topper. there was 3 6465's but one decided to stop, so the 6495 is a hire tractor also the t7030 that i was disappointed with \
damper conditions

nice set up and song. looks to be a pretty good crop too ? what variety is it your lifting at the minute?
the harvester where im working is also struggling, kept making mud rolls/sausages in the webs so had to fit bars inside them, and struggle to get the soil up the share, just wants to push it along \ all part of the fun i suppose

Fantastic range of tractors you get to drive Stuart, which is your favourite workmate out of those you've just posted?
yeah i consider myself lucky, thought i was just going to be driving the mtx. hard to choose between the fendts and the deeres. loved cultivating on the 930, even though she is dead for 300hp. was suprised that i liked the 6930 so much which im on most of the time \ tough decision

we had some problems with the floats on the trailer I used this year... I don't think they are well suited to a lot of road work really \ .. they do get bloody hot after a few hours running at high speed
were they alliance tyres? there was a complaint sent baileys way. agree with you 100% very soft tyre and do get rather hot \
-
OOOooooo * .. some serious MF'idge in the field Stuarty... thanks for sharing mate... looks like you are having fun.. not sure I like to see that poor 74 bogged down though :'( :D
indeed mark, there was about 10 masseys at one stage yeah plenty of fun

You have to say it does obviously look a wee bit wet there.

Nice little update Stuart. Grass looks in good order over there. It has shot up here in Wiltshire and gone a lovely dark lush green colour. Will you be in Lincolnshire for the October Spalding Show? Be a good visit for you.
grass is just starting to pick up now, anything that didnt see slurry is poor still, thankfully we dont have the cow numbers we used to or they'd have the place bare.
oh theres an idea, yeah im there july to end of october hopefully. would be nice to get a trip to it if it suits
