didnt know greenmount had a lambo sure there was a tm got stuck up there with greenmounts abbey tanker and shoe on,wasnt greenmounts tractor though took a deere to pull her out with michael graham watching
its not there lambo or harvester on of the teachers brothers
im sure he was impressed
-
\
Accually wanted the lambo to get stuck, just for the banter but she just gave a spin and drove on
-
Nice few updates Stuart - best get a few NH pictures soon
there is a few nh's at greenmount, may take a photo, il just have to be quick or shield my eyes
wee update from today, were we're at the tatties. wasnt a great day for taken photos but at least i tried \
had a good day last week drilling with one pass, but typically my battery was dead
Anyway a few pics \
-
could be flemming spreaders
:D definitely not
blue might be bunning lad allthough dave had a rolland out there at greenmounts dung but its his mates
its not bunning shade of blue, seen the rolland at greenmount on the deere, some yoke hi
-
2 up with me i think \
think local dealer may sell rollands \ blue anyway, never really looked that close, but that would be the way to go
-
Nice pictures Stuarty always nice to see you are working with clean equipment.
Texas
cheers mate, 135 needs a wash now was a tad windy
-
real curse spreading with a side spreader cant pack it in or its wild hard to spread leave it loose and it falls off dirtys the yard or road spreading downhill it covers back of tractor and if its windy too!,bunning the mission 1 fault it feeds the dung to the back of spreader takes the weight off the back of tractor bad job on a steep hill!
yeah, if we had more dung we would have a big rear discharge, oul side one is slow and uneven, has a sticky bit your slipping the clutch, then next min it gets a bit of waste silage n your looking for gears
no keenans around are way ive ever seen \
-
good pictures stuarty 8) fine clean gear about
cheers murray dung spreads not so, contractor borrows her n leaves it outside
-
putting er on right n thick was windy too
this started to get slippy (cant really see, was quite steep) \ near jacked her once, but speed had somthing to do with that
-
mc135 on spreader
-
well, got at the dung while it was dry on friday afternoon and saturday morning, nothing out of the ordinary. same old outfit \ few pics anyways
first up the pile,
tm270 loading
poor old girl needs new boots.. 6900 hours on her
-
seen a field of wheat the other day that was still raw green, \ still a brave few acres to lower yet round here and last year are contractor was cutting what was left of the barly end of november, baled the straw in February

i guess they use 3 furrows and 3 of them so they can teach more people in one go?? plus i guess its easier to set a 3 furrow than say a 5 or 6 , less adjustments needed, i know its an art, that i never really mastered ploughing or setup, but i only did it 3 or 4 times tops as school was usally back on by that time sadly
the tractors got updated and machinery didnt, is a main issue \ they are handy for learning your right not as many discs, ect to check and adjust..... its an art i would love to master, but doubt i ever will \
-
like everything really stuart, if they dont show you how to use it you dont get a good feel for the tractor and if your using it right so to speak, mind you little overpowered for a 3 furrow wasn't it :D :D
only 3 furrow but you noticed it when she was out off 4wd which i was surprised at \ but yeah you got it in one
Great pictures. I hope you have learned today something. Also a great plow you working with.
Texas
cheers tex, em cant really say i did, just hopped in and away, rolled the draft about till it helped, wasnt really much explained \ the kv is a great wee plough, pitty she hadnt a few more boards
I'm not sure if that 7475 is powerful enough for the plough.
i had my doubts at the start
-
Much nicer 5455, better gearing for it, only didnt get a go
-
instructor decided it would be fun to trail stones out only to get it jammed in between the back to furrows
-
we were supossed to have learnt how to plow today, but cant say i really learnt much \ any way 7475 Dyna VT (scrap!) and 5455 both with 3 furrow reversible Ploughing looks uneven, because it was it was straight, but dont think the plough was set right on the VT \ anyways a few pics for the massey massives
cant say i liked the vario transmission for ploughing, probably not so bad if we were shown how to work headland management \
Controls, no big knobs like of of my mccormick switches :'(
-
youre right its a good thing
:D
-

thanks, but why are you doing it aswell, somewhere \
