Sean keep me posted on this, got to clean our slabs more where they seemed to have been stained from the trees?....pressure washer and patio cleaner doesnt work!!

you can spend too long sometimes looking into sizes!! , i went to one near me and paced it out and rounded it up, its about accurate as i could get on the day as i couldnt get clsoe enough!, but it fits in the Lexion 600, few trailers, etc., so fine!, other sheds i've staterd and looked at, again i've used the longest implement i have, added a bit then that was the length, width was what ever i wanted, height, jsut high enough really.....

i use a mix of old coffee and compost, the compost gives it body and depth, the coffee drags out onto the tracks like the mud would in real life, if you go into a starbucks they used to give the used stuff away for free in foil bags, but i have not seen that recently in my local one, so they may have stopped it???
yeah sorry about that Sean, when i told you i didnt expect you to get all of it in the UK back in the day!! ;D ;D
to be honest, i've not seen any here either, i think you may have to ask, originally it was for gardeners to use with compost

Impulse buy....
A 1.1 Citroen Saxo
Basically Traci's little Pug passed it's MOT but a couple of advisories did point towards front shocks and some brake replacements. Along comes a customer of Traci's dad, an old lady giving up driving. With only 20900 miles on the clock, new set of tyres and being cheap on fuel and tax. . . .. £1000 seemed to silly not to pay for it!! It's bruddy mint.
my brother downgraded his golf GT to a 1.4lt pug,,,,,,same reason, cheaper on fuel and only £25 tax or something! :of

dont think so, last time i was over, Hattie was in the main office next to the 240?.....and Harry was in Doug!

i always thought some small crane would be used, never occuried to me you could use a loadall type for lifting the main roof trusses??.....makes dioramas easier now!! :D
-
Not a bad idea Marky!!, plus you get more time in the 'trakor'!! ;D

General buy for me, the throttle part i need for the car! £181.20!....a lot cheaper than the *** dealer.....and apparently the same make! :of
-
Sean, how is the workshop building fitted to its board in the display?, you could cut down some 6mm mdf and stick it underneath adding to the height??
-
yeah i've already dribbled over them!!!! ;D
same depth as a stirrer? (5mm)?
just wondering how much weight it adds!!
-
yeah i know the stuff!!....think i still have a few bags from 2006 ;D ;D
wasn't sure if you were going to use polyfilla like Tris?
-

-
Throttle body thing has gone on my car > > £200+ :'( :'( :'(

come on guys we know the system on FTF!!!, criticism or not, that's what FTF is all about, allowing people freedom to comment on models and conversions whether good or bad and within reason of course!. We do it to each other and other companies, look at RC2!. At the end of the day if someone doesn't like a model, they don't have to buy it, no one is forced to!
I like to hear good and bad points on stuff i've built and put on here, its constructive!, Sean is an example of someone who has had constructive comments and improved!!
as Kim75 has said, the model is approved by those higher up as what they want made and to sell, so their hands are tied by this......if you don't like it, black out the writing!
now i'm off to see how much my VW Throttle body will cost before fitting!!! > > :'(
-
to be honest, in those older days it may have been different?, some of our floors in warehouses dont have any joints where as some are along the grid lines, ok different loads to a road!, i'll see what else i can find
-

it wasnt for the lack of effort, same formats were used as per previous years , indeed as we would this time round, just for some reason we had so much outrage it wasnt up, so we did it, and no one made the effort to support it ,it kind of made us wonder why bother . as for prizes as you say finding someone to provide them or sponsor the event isnt a easy thing to sort either
i remember it well Sean, we did get a lot of asking but no giving!, :(
These comps were run initially as a bit of fun for people to show of their collections in different scenarios, replicating the real world, prizes shouldnt be a factor in the fun side of collecting etc.!!

Cutting wood. Hopefully have 12t cut by lunchtime and then jog on home to watch the wedding re-run. Last weekends four day break was too long for me and too expensive! Glad of a mornings work today :)
Although Wed & Thurs did nearly hit 30hrs combined work so I did gain a bit back.
i know that feeling Tris, April / May isn't the best month for contractors!
