  1. Hi I am going to have Disagree as well about SIKU's models. I think they had done a Bang up Job on there models. I don't have many SIKU models in my collection but I have been impressed. Certainly the UH models are clearly detailed BUT SIKU, I think does an amazing job. Look at the SIKU Lexion 600 in 1/32nd, It has opening side sheilds, grain bin, detailed head, header trailer, detailed cab interior and other nice detail, that used to be found on just precision models like the Deere Precision 9750STS. You even get handrails & Mirrors as well... And this model was not even a Dealer or special version... The one I got any way. Same with the Deere 7500 SPFH in 1/32nd SIKU brought out in 2003. Very well detailed, had opening side sheilds, handrailings and mirrors all on a regular model! I am impressed with SIKU. They will Do One Hell of a job on the new 1/32nd T670I Combine! The Thing with the SIKU models, is the grain tanks actually open, unlike the UH combine models, which is a let down a bit on UH's end but good old SIKU notices that detail and incorporates it. Now I am not saying UH is bad, but SIKU keeps getting Better & Better. Even there 1/32nd Tractors have opening hoods, unlike most of Britains 1/32nd models. Not knocking Britains either as they have produced some fine models as well, in my opnion....But SIKU has done some unique things, some that the other Toy companies would not touch... Like the John Deere T670I for example. You would not begin to understand how long I have waited for a new John Deere Conventional combine to appear. The last one was in 2000, by Britains, which was the 2266 in 32nd scale. It was a so- so model but won't go into that.... So I waited & waited and Finally Good old SIKU delivers what I was looking for: A DETAILED John Deere conventional Combine! Long Live the T670!!! This is The Model I have Waited for, and if it were not for SIKU we may never have seen it. True UH detail is impressive but in my opnion SIKU's detail is right up there and it's detail in there models is often overlooked by collectors. That Horshe Grain cart or what ever it was called that came out in 32nd by SIKU was a clever model with the carts auger that actually rotates and augers out the grain into a cart. Clever detail SIKU. Personally I think future looks Bright for SIKU, they keep getting better and better in my honest opnion. Take Care Jason B
  2. True the head design on 32nd 2266 was poor, but if you got creative, you could pull it off. That or take one of the newer 30F Britains head and cut it down to 20Feet. Someone on TTT posted a picture on the 32nd board of a 1/32nd S690I with the cut down Britains head. Of course you could use the SIKU head as well.
  3. Hi Just got to thinking, for thoses wanting a smaller sized grain head for the new T670I, maybe the smaller grain head from Britains 1/32nd 2266 from 2000 would work on it. I think the head from the 2266 was a 20-22Foot model. Just A thought. All I know is I will be getting this beauty! Thanks SIKU for finally delevering a 1/32nd Deere Conventional combine.
  4. Hi Well it won't be here until July 2009, but I just filled out and mailed off the order fourm for the 2009 Plow City Show Tractor, The 1/32nd John Deere 8010 Vintage FWD with mounted 8 furrow plow. It will look great with my 1/32nd 7020,7520,8630,8430,8640,&8440. I am hoping we see an 8020 off the same casting as well in later 09. Also just bought the 1/16th Precision 7020 FWD from Ertl, should be getting it on Monday or Tuesday next week. Take Care Jason B
  5. Hi Thanks for the picture! Yeah I guess they made a typo, instead of 09 they put 08. Anyway it looks to be one find looking combine! Finally a new 1/32nd John Deere Conventional Combine! Ever since the 2266 in 1/32nd was released back in 2000, all we have seen since then was 1/32nd Deere Rotary combine models. Hopefully the SIKU Toy dealer in Canada can get this beauty in! Looks like the bin extentions fold in and out. After getting the 32nd Lexion 600 from Siku this past summer, I am sure they will do a fantastic job. Should see if I can modify the 8 row corn head from my Precision 9750STS to fit this thing. Really shocked but have been after SIKU for a while to do a Deere conventional or Walker combine in 1/32nd. Can't wait get one of these.
  6. Hi Just wondering if anyone has seen the new 1/32nd T670I John Deere combine yet that SIKU was releaseing? I was looking on FarmModels.com and saw a picture of it. Just wondering if they are out yet? FarmModels was saying it was a Fall 2008 release from SIKU. Would love to see a picture of it, if anyone has seen it yet?
  7. I was able to pick up the 32nd 7580 AC FWD at the National this past November. It is indeed a very nice model and very well detailed. It really does blow the orginal 1/32nd 8550 away. I hope we see the Marroon Belly variation of the 7580 in the near future.
  8. Hi Just got my Jan 09 issue of the Toy Farmer, saw the order forum for the 8010 with plow. Made a photo copy of the order fourm, filled it out today and will be mailing it off tommorrow. Deadline for ordering is March 1st, 09, but I thought I better order her now before I forget. Will be a nice addition for the collection for sure. Will look great with my 1/32nd 7020, 7520, 8630, 8430, 8440, & 8640, as well I could include my 32nd 9630 & Dusty Waterloo Works 9630T. Hopefully we see a 32nd 8020 out of this tooling as well later on.. I would like to see a 32nd 8650/8850 Deere as well. A WA-17/WA-17 Deere in 32nd would be a dream too! Take Care Jason B
  9. Hi I am hoping they bring out a 1/32nd CIH 7088, 8120 or 9120 Axiel Flow Combine! We will probably see another version of the 1/32nd 8010 Deere FWD that is being done for the 09 Plow City Show.
  10. Hi Just wondering if we will be seeing a 1/32nd 7088, 8120 or 9120 Case IH combine in 1/32nd for 2009? It would be sweet to see a 1/32nd 7088 and the 9120 with tracks and 16 row corn head. I wonder what the chances are of seeing one in 2009 are? Take Care Jason B
  11. Hi Yeah it was quite the hunt for the Dusty Magnam 275 though. Had to open every box on the shelf in several dealers to find the Dusty 275. Case IH partsmen in the dealers looked at me like I was crazy... ha ha!. Take Care Jason
  12. Hi I was quite surprised at the anouncement of the 1/32nd 8010 FWD with the 8 furrow plow as the 2009 Plow City Show Tractor. I kind of thought that we would have seen an 8650 FWD as the 09 model, But I am still very excited about this model and will be picking one of these models up. I hope we see several variations of the 8010/8020 FWD done. I really hope that Ertl does the rare Industrial 8020 FWD in 1/32nd scale off of the casting! And yes the Industrial version did indeed exsist! Take Care Jason
  13. Hi I picked up a 9630T Employee Edition off Ebay about a month a go. I really like the detail on this model and it really helps out the model with the "Dusty/Muddy" look to it. Also got lucky and found one of the 1/32nd Magnam 275 "Dusty" at a local CIH dealer as well. Take Care Jason B
