Hello and welcome to the forum home farm, you will love this place, some one knows somthing about any thing on here, if just one of us dosent know about it , its a fake, I hope you find the model as it looks like a super set up, shame its like a pile of rocking horse dung over here :'(

Sounds really good, can we have some pics please
-
Aha, I think you guys have found the answer, that system sounds completely rubbish, shame, it'd probably work nowadays with some complex electronics.
Just another thing waiting to go wrong there, it could be done easliy today i recon, touque senser in the gear box, pressue vales for the flow control and some excvator type final drives and i recon you would have a good 4wd with teh 2wd turning radius and stil be reliable,
I could be totaly wrong with saying that also \

That is a cracking model, i love it, suits the old stuf to the bone, One question, Did you make the 135 cab of is it a orignal one?
The reason why the big boys dont go for this stuf is becouse it means they have to go looking for the plans and the manafactures permission, The new stuf the oems just send them a email and say" we have a new model such and such coming out heres the plans make one to sell to promte it please and i lookforward to the bill,

As far as i rember AFWD is the proper name for HFWD, it is just something that you would use when you are truly in the $hit, My farther inlaws 4240 has AFWD, and he said you never use it longer than 5 mins and never at more than half revs, when you do it spins the wheels far to fast( as mentioned) and it frys oild seals and stufs up basicly, was a good paper idea but crap in reality, I have been told the best thing to do with them is take them of, chuck it way and put on a real 2wd axle as it wont fry your hydrolic pumps

I think you misinterpreted my post Scott... I was trying to say that you could get a much better model from Spec Cast with that money instead of buying this model.
Good try though
Unless he was trying to get you on the price thing...... Or the fact the link dosent have any thing to do with been dealer edtion,
But to me it looks really cheap and plasticy for my liking... bit like the real thing
-
Nice pic there mate......The 6210 looks dwarfed by the 6820...... :o
Thats what i was thinking
-
I know mate. . .it's a loooooooooooooooooooooong wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its so you can save up first tris, so you dont have to sell both arms and a leg to get it at the time

I note Archbarch's and 1H's comments. I certainly think it will be more difficult to restore such tractors however I hope the younger generation keep up the trend of collecting and preserving our heritage and items of interest in the future.
Dont worry some of them are, i have a couple of countys and old ihs in a shed tucked away as well as some old cats
-
Now thats what you call a rig there, thats what id like for carting my machines
-
She is beuatfull, im sure there is one close to me, i might have to do some digging
-
She is one very sexy looking lady there, very well cared for, guess it takes longer to rust in aussie since its so dry compared to nz, i love the 7740 very nice tractors to drive , looks like a serious loader on the front of her, Thanks for the super pics

I just give up!!! As I strolled around the vinyards of New Zealand I thought to myself, I'll get a Joal grape harvester and make a vinyard diorama with the UH Claas and some scratch built side tip trailers. ...
Thats that 'first' idea out of the window then!!!!!!
I hope you were sampling stupidly large amounts whilst doing this
-
Trust me these rakes are as good as the real thing if not better! ill get some pics up by the end of the week

oh deere , they look like the efforts that the old original howard big balers used to throw out , they wernt so much a bale as a collected pile with string in /on it / near it :D we'd manage to pick up with a dung grab about two out of every ten , the others we'd drive up with the conventional baler & fork it in , as you can imagine the howard big balers didn't have a great following \
Yea ive been there and done the howard 2, real pig of a baler to learn on, I kept breaking teh shear bolts ( i wasnt using the proper ones for a good reason) so we ened up getting a gehl witch burnt out at the end of that season, the old howard is still in the shed but its missing its notters and no one knows how to put them on :

We are looking at a new tractor at work. I have it down to 2 choices JD6420 or SAME iorn 110
The same only has 61l/m hydro pump seams a bit slow for loader work in my mind
