so many memories are flooding back now . im coming up 42 now n some of those things Tim happened when i was little. the drinkin water was staight from a spring via an open ditch- no treatment in it either. on a wet day it could resembled the colour of the land!
milk was straight from the house cow , thick with cream
my neigbouring farmer , old george sparke wouldnt eat bread or cheese till it blue .i remember the lads eating thier bait in the feed house that the rats occupied just wiping thier dirty hands on thier dirty trousers before holding a sandwich

its amazing how all these things are now lost . people dont seem to have time for others, clothes have to be fancy named brands- not hand me downs either. i remember my mam knitting school jumpers out of old ones too. kids all helped out , now they need x boxes or i pads to amuse their modern brain

thanks for your replies, fortunatly it was a free listing but all the same a final end price has a charge that i will contend.
it really bugs me that people do this , my wife instantly said it was a scam to get hold of my bank details, it prob was but at least i had sense not to hand it over

Hi
I sold a britains post hole digger that i had converted to mf livery yesterday. The winner was from Belgium and was a new buyer.
I asked him to use paypal as a prefered method of payment but he asked for my bank account numbers instead of which i refused. Their reply to this was can not pay.
I guess my next course of action is to report them to ebay so they wont charge me for a sale that fell flat on its face .
Has anyone else had a bad experiance on ebay?

think that bloke wants to go to spec savers eh malcy

looking great.I did one my self, cutting a section of the chassis out and gluing the second axle n chassis in its place.Only prob i have is it rocks a littleon the new axle. Perhaps i should have shaved the new section down a bit

ford tractors were thin on the ground around here due to lack of a dealership. internationals, masseys, leylands, david browns were the main brands sold
great reading rory , keep up the good work
