  1. Yo.......thanks alot for the feedback, here´s another picture of the Bergmann
  2. Hi dudes, Maybe you like this conversion. I have tried the MB Trac´s of Schuco, Siku and Weise to convert them to a MB Trac 1500. My opinion is that this is a good replacement for the MB Trac of Britians. The Bergmann Muck Spreader is made out of two standard models of Siku. It looks simple but this one was not easy to make. I´ll also will post these models to the scratch & conversion competition.
  3. Oooops what is this........... for all John Deere or 4-WD Articulated tractorfans like me....... well this is the John Deere where I waited for. What is your opinion on this marvoulus Johnny.
  4. Someone asked about the model what was the longest in production at Britains........... well I ask wich model has the most variations. With the variations I mean different colours, different decals or whatever. I think that there are the most variations in the 3-furrow plow. What is your opinion as a collector? Jacco
  5. wow, I don´t know exactly what I wanna buy but I could say this: SIKU: Nothing of the 2010 program Britains: some or nothing of the 2010 program Ertl: Some or nothing of the 2010 program Weise: All 2010 models UH: All 2010models Replicagri: All 2009 & 2010 Models MarGe: All Models This would say that I will ( want ) to invest about 2500 Euro´s in my collection. Than I also want to built a new showcase, about 4 meters long, 40 centimeters in depth and about 180 cm high. The most pleasure makes my order at Tyro Toys, by end of the year I´ll get my Kirovets K700, ACO & Agrico 4WD´s. Jacco
  6. Ok........ but don´t forget the diference between toys & models. Bruder, Siku and Britains are toys.......... that´s stuff to play with and in the 1/32 section, Siku is unbeatable. Wiking, UH, Replicagri and stuff like that are Models........... you get them out of the box, put them in a showcase and look at them. That´s why you have the difference between toys and models.......... most of the time you also see it at the price. Jacco
  7. Welll getting back on this theme.......I think that there are alot of reasons for the manufacturers to use more plastic than diecast. Reasons are; Plastic is cheaper than Diecast, the molds can be made cheaper as molds for metal, molds live longer by plastic as metal. Real good plastic casters are able to paint the plastic in the right colours, so no more painting after the casting. Plastic is not good for playing........... well my dear that is a rumour.......... check out the toys made by Bruder......... that´s good to play with. The most high quality, high detail model manufacturers are using plastic (resin). Jacco
  8. Ey Moritz............happy christmas.............and my question to you......... are there models on the market who are good enough for you because the most time (when we talk) you have negative comments on some models......... even when they are realy good. I think you must seperate the real one from the toy. The model development in the last 5-7 years made very big jumps and the quality wasn´t better as today so stop bugging around. Maybe the Steiger isn´t that good but what do you want......... it´s not a precision, not made by Replicagri or UH........... it´s an Britains / Ertl / RC2 or whatever............ they make toys to play with!!!! The quality from those brands is not that bad but cannot reach the quality of the french. So..........stop spreading negative arguments and think positive Happy easter, Jacco
  9. Look at this baby........ Ain´t she nice.......... Based on the MB Trac 1800 of Schuco........... lemmy hear your comments.. It´s also for sale on eBay Germany. I will build one more (almost finished) on Siku MB Trac base and 2 more on Schuco base. Next year I´ll try it to make the 1500 on Weise Base. Jacco
  10. sounds good but I don´t like pony´s and horses.........only when they are covered under the hood of a car. We will drive the trail thru the great smokey mountains and we gonna visit our daughter company. I wanna know more about how to get farm models in these states, how to get contact to some collectors, some information where I can stay for the night (cheap) and so on......... usable information for traveling euro-dudes. Jacco
  11. Helo collectors, Maybe very unusual but I´ll give it a try.......... My wife and I will visit the southern States of the USA in the last 2 weeks of April. That means Georgia, Alabama, Missisipi, Tennessee and so on. It would be great to hear from some US collectors where they live and maybe I can visit them to talk farm models in general. MAybe someone can inform me about farm toy fairs in these 2 weeks in one of the states. Last year I was in the Middle West and visited the National Farm Toy Show. I was very impressed about the american people in the middle west. Now I wanna find out if the southern people are also very relaxed and open minded. Lemme hear from you folks. PS: I know that there´s no Greenbow,AL....... That Forrest Gump doesn´t exist, and that not all southern people are rednecks or cotton pickers.
  12. What`s true about the rumour that UH has take over Ertl / Britians /RC2? Everywhere on this globe people are gossipping....... about there neighbours....... or if the B..bs of Pamela Anderson are real or not. Now I have heard a rumour on the show in Zwolle that Universal Hobbies took over Ertl / Britains / RC2. They have bought the RC2 company just for the BIG NAME licencies. Does someone know something about this gossip?
  13. [ [ Well see it like this........... when all 12 models they had delivered are not fixed with the clips inside the showcase ( the model has a free life inside the showcase !!!!!!) than I don´t wonder that the models are damaged. I´ve seen heavy chipped models, broken showcases and showcases with silver paint inside the glass. JAck
  14. Hi there everybody, Today I had some time check out some new furniture for the living. This huge warehouse also has a toy department and I was walking thru this department....... I found the brand new 2009 SILVER JCB Fastrac, made by Siku. I was very upset because almost all the tractors where lose in the showcase and had paintchips all over the model [ [ Even on the inside of the showcase was silver paint and most of the showcases where broken > >. I bought the best of 12 models they had so my model is secure in my collection. So beware for this model, as we say " A warned man counts for 2 " .......... check before buying. Regards from rainy Germany, Jacco
  15. Hello there, I know, you didn´t hear alot from me for a few months but work makes high pressure on me. Every day 10 hours makes you go bonkers to. In the last few weeks I had some little time for meself so I could make 2 convo´s. I have refurbished 2 MB-Trac 1500´s from Britains. The 1500 is much cheaper now as a few years ago.......... for 2 years was 200 Euro+ very normal but since Siku, Weise and now Schuco brought the 1600 and 1800 series of the MB Trac nobody is interested anymore in the Mb Trac of Britains. Very good MB´s you´ll find on ebay for 50 euro or even less. Check my both pictures of them. Have a nice day, Jacco
  16. I´ve seen better work from you................... \ Greetz, Jacco
  17. I would say......... please answer the question :o . It is not a Universal Hobbies, it´s a Siku model.........a Valtra T171 limited edition for the LCN Show 2008. about 2000 are made, where all sold out on the LCN Show and very hard to get......... prizes of 100+ Euro / Pound are regular
  18. Here some pictures from my latest conversions on Britains MB Trac 1500 and Siku Mb Trac 1800 Intercooler. The MB 1500´s are painted in the light and dark green paint livery and in the Jubilee paint livery. The 1800´s are only made in the jubilee livery.
  19. I will sell these models in Holland at the LCN Farm Toy Show on November 22nd & 23Th.
  20. Dear RC2 / Britains / Ertl , This one is especialy for Mr. bill Walters. Hello Bill, I will be visiting the National Farm Toy Show in Dyersville this year and it would be a pleasure and a honnor for me to meet you and talk about farm models. You know that I´m a fanatic 1/32 scale collector with a huge collection. You also know that I´m begging for implements and machinery for the 4WD tractors. I would be happy to talk with someone who "polished up" the Ertl & Britains brand with high quality, high detail and value for money models in 1/32 scale. At this time I would say that you have RC2 took in the place of Siku. Siku lost a lot of customers the last 2 years because Universal Hobbies came big on the market with high detail / low price models. Than RC2 started to produce better quality in 1/32, so second place for RC2 and Siku is on thirt place. I hope we meet, Jacco
  21. Hi everybody, As we all know, Ertl is the leader in re-issues. Now the Case International 9150 has other tires and a glazed cab. The model is looking OK for me but there´s no fantasy from RC2. RC2 should make a fine machine for the 4-WD´s. I have just made my hollidays at Tyro Toys and I have made Hans Tyroller a nice Case 2470 in white. This model will come out in September so don´t make some . Jacco
  22. Ok........... enough smalltalk about the Golden Deere. Who wants one............... I have one for sale. I ask 999,99 Euro ( that?s almost 1000 Euro ) including insured shipment worldwide. But I didn?t buy it at Agritechnica, I have payed way more than 129,00 Euro Contact me by email to tractorjack@online.de Regards, Jacco
  23. Dear Bill Walters, Dear collectors all over the world, First of all I want to wish all the people a happy new year and a great 2008 with lots of new models. I?m now in collectorsbusiness since 12 years and in this time a have become a lot of knowledge about farm model collecting in 1/32 scale. We see that the model market has changed a lot, since UH came on the market, value for money has other dimensions. Value for money is become better at ERTL / Britains / RC2. The market brought out over 2000 different models in 1/32 since 1948.......... everything from tractor to combine................... but no implements for the 4-WD tractors. I think that it is at the time that RC2 is doing something about the implements for 4-WD Tractors. I think that 2008 is the year for 4-WD tractor Implements............ even Hillary and Obama think that. I think I do not speak for myself but for a lot of other 4-WD Tractor owners who like a implement for there 4-WD. I do not have one implement for my 85 4-WD farm models. Well........... hope to hear soon from you Bill, otherwise we will meet at the 2008 NFTS. Regards Jacco from Germany
