thanks. it is made of 0.5mm steel sheet cut by hand. to make this i used a junior hack soar, a pair of tinsnips, files and a punch.

here is my first one it is going to be fitted on a kuhn varimaster 6 furrows :

nice tractor! just a little idea for it to look even better is to cut off that steering "knob" of the cabin and filling the hole.

or you can also use coco powder but that is more expensive...

i use earth that i dry and put through an old cooking sieve.

if you want to build the tank from scratch, use an aerosol can cut both ends of turn the rounded end round, fix it on and take an other one of an other aerosol can to do the other end. With this method you can do any tanker being as there are loads of different sizes.

hello everybody here is my farm; it is composed of a dairy farm and a meat farm and in between fields and more fields are to come! enough talking, here are the photos:

to make the tyre tracks you have to lay down a thin layer of plaster, make the weels of an old toy tractor and rolle it over the plaster, once the plaster is set you paint it brown, and put the "grass" on.

no problem I can do a photo strait away with a tractor and a few bales, in its furture place on the farm.

hi everybody, i'm new here, i have been registered for a while but it's only now that i have got around to posting, I found this forum in my google reserches had a look around, thought it was pretty good so i got registered.

here is another tip. still to make our model farms more realistic, this is to make bales of straw or hay in this case; straw. you have to cut bits of string 5mm (the string huse in medium density square balers) and press it in a 5cm diameter tube with a round full tube of pvc or any other material, the heavier the better. then you have to put the string on by pushing the bale out a bit at a time. here are the photoes
