Its a difficult one, I had hoped to use the rolls from the Siku folding version but i think they've been discontinued?
-
Thats a shame, it'd be nice to have a combine of this spec that has a fully removable header.
-
Can the header be removed on these combines??
-
Has anyone got any ideas what I could use for cambridge rings? I'd like to scratch build a set of rolls like these. (Sorry the Pics a bit small)
-
Looks like the arms fold round to the back
-
I agree, just wouldn't know where to start?

Great to see a Case SP Sprayer FW, I drive the newer version with an NH combine cab, I too have considered trying to build one, theres so many curves on it

My kit has arrived and is very impressive, can't wait to start building it, just need to sort out some glue and another furrow or two to attach to it.

Hi
Just ordered the 5F Dowdeswell DP1, has anyone built one of these? How easy would it be to add a couple of furrows later on?

I did think about DT's 1505 but the model I built was a 10ft machine so may be a bit narrow on a 1505 with duals?
-
Thanks guys, I haven't fitted the lower links yet as I am hopeing to fit it to a Britains Massey 1505 when it arrives, should be a good combination.....I hope

I thought about using the tines from a britains Bomform superflow for the sweep tines, and I'll make the subsoiler lets from Plastruct

good idea, thanks nathan, that sounds worth a try

Yeah its his article which has given me a boost to get started, don't suppose you've got any idea where I might be able to get some Maschio decals from?
-
Thanks Tractorman,
what I was hopeing to do is re-spray the Prosol to Maschio colours and scratch build an 'end tow' kit that RECO made for them, to add a finishing touch.

I had an idea earlier, perhaps some plastic threaded rod would look similar?
