Hi guys, I am looking at scratch building a 1/16 scale subsoiler, however most of the plastruct etc. styrene doesn't really fit with the scale as i'm needing 10mm square solid plastruct strips. Does anybody know anywhere that may do these larger sizes? failing that I may have to look at the brass option but don't really want to go down that road. Nick

Just ordered some humbrol model filler, seems like its ideal fo the job.

Thanks for some ideas, they arn't masive gaps but will stick out like a sore thumb after some paints put on it.

Has any body got any ideas where I may be able to get hold of some 2wd wheels approx. 3cm in diameter? I've tried the Britains JD 4020 wheels and they are a bit small, they are for a John Deere 5830 Self propelled Forager i'm building, so ideally don't want them to be too skinny. Nick

Still haven't got round to building the kit, now we've finished drilling i've got a bit more time. Anybody know what glue is best to use for these kits?

It's very similar to the Taarup version but made by a company called Solus , think its from the 80's??

Been building this on and off not quite finished yet but its nearly there, its a side tipping forage harvester trailer that can tip into a lorry.

We had one on demo for drilling, it was fine in the field but on the road you feel every bump, not good for your back
